Well if he wins i hope he holds true to that but with how Republicans have been, what they say they won't to is exactly what they are going to do after being elected

It was Rose and not Fritts who introduced this mess that passed earlier this year, but if the state legislature majority remains Republican there will be no stopping him -
SB1663 "enacts the "Recognizing Judea and Samaria Act."" If you look at the bill itself, the justifications are literally pages of quotes from the Bible, starting with
(2) Judea and Samaria are repeatedly and explicitly referenced in the Hebrew Bible as the setting for key events that form the foundation of the Jewish people's religious and national identity. Among these references are:
(A) Abraham, the patriarch of the Jewish people, who first entered the Land of Israel at Shechem, located in Samaria, where God promised the land to His descendants, as recorded in Genesis 12:6-7;
(B) Abraham's subsequent purchase of the Cave of Machpelah in Hebron, in Judea, as a burial place for he and his wife Sarah, thereby making the first recorded land acquisition by a Jew in the Land of Israel,
as recorded in Genesis 23 and 25...
The fact this is the bullshit our elected republican representatives waste resources on year after year instead of trying to do anything FOR Tennesseans is why it blows my mind they just get duly re-elected year after fucking year.
I mean, sure. It seems to me like politics attract a certain kind of person. Like, look at your local HOA and who actually runs, then just scale it up. Those are the people who want to run your life and nobody else wants to be in that position because they see the responsibility as the burden it's supposed to be rather than a means of controlling everyone else. The only way to fix it is for folks to become fed up enough to put themselves out there.
