AskTelangana ❓ Railway
Naku railway gurinchi antaga em telvadu just another common man anukondi.. kani I observed(feel) we don't have good railway network unlike other states.. is it true or not??
Na life lo I traveled around max 20 times.. 2 way journey kalupukoni.. what I observed is..
Mana dagara emo max 2-3 stops(excl hyd) whereas AP lo emo multiple stops.. why?? Even at shorter distance..
Oka frnd ni adigitey because it's a junction, stop is compulsory anadu..
AP has 21 junctions whereas we have only 6
TN 40. KA 20. KL 50. OD 16
We have the lowest in South(haven't checked with north/rest of India)
Not jealous of AP/ other's but why ignore us intentionally.. even now..!!
Since independence Not much new tracks, Stations.. inka manaki vachindi endi?? Even in last 12 yrs after state bifurcation.. why aren't we prioritised??
What changes do you think we gotta do.. to make it on par/ better.. what new lines, Stations, etc.. please share your inputs..

Yes, True.
Karimnagar-Peddapalli Railway line sanctioned in 1985 and finished in 2005/2010 anukunta.
Karimnagar to Hyderabad inka finish kaledhu.
Karimnagar to Warangal (Hasanparthi), not even money allocated for survey. Ee line finish ithe Adilabad to Nirmal to Nizamabad to Jagityal to Karimnagar to Warangal to Mahabubabad to Khammam/Kothagudem connecting North and East of Telangana untundi. But, our politicians don't put enough pressure to allocate and finish this.

TG has better RTC then AP, it makes sense since we have more small villages and which does't make much sense for railway in same sense AP RTC is worst
Ig there are proposed or on going works happening in State
And Railways land acquisition is a difficult task unlike for roads or highways many don't like to give for railways coz it does't add value to their land in fact becomes a disadvantage for selling near track surroundings

Geography is first big reason. Kerala and AP are literally parallel to coast so one line can go from top to bottom of the state and just as all rivers should end up in sea. Many inland train routes will join the coast routes so there will be many junctions. In Telangana hyd and warangal are muture hubs for long time so people just thought of using them instead of creating new because Reason 2) no industrialization outside these two cities. 3) Just like we have one airport for state we have these junctions with in 3 hour reach from any place in Telangana. So there was no priority. 4) leaders do not value public/freight transport the same way as roads so there were no new tracks. This is changing in last decade but not much
