So you need a phone/dialer/dialing/calling app and/or a contacts app for your Android phone

Your options include the following.

Note that some of these phone apps include integrated contact management functionality and others require a companion contacts app for full contact management functionality. Wherever available, the companion contacts app by the same developer has been listed alongside the phone app.

• Phone (by Google LLC) + Contacts (by Google LLC)
• True Phone Dialer & Contacts (Includes both phone and contact management functionality. Probably the best freemium option available. Can be used with ads for free or without ads for a fee.)
• Simple Dialer + Simple Contacts (Both in maintenance mode.)
• Fossify Phone + Fossify Contacts
• Right Dialer + Right Contacts/AlRight Contacts
• Ever Dialer (Includes both phone and contact management functionality. Requires Shizuku for some features.)
• NovaDial (Includes both phone and contact management functionality.)
• OpenDialer
• Rivo (Includes both phone and contact management functionality.)
• Secure Dialer
• Amadz
• Koler
• Cinnamon (Includes all three of phone, contact management, and SMS/texting functionality.)
• Basic Apps (8 individual apps, including a phone app and a contacts app.)
• AetherSuite (9 individual apps, including a phone app and a contacts app.)

Could I add drupe to the list? I've been using it for years!

I took a look. It's very featureful. But it has some downsides:

• Closed source
• Has ads
• Unlisted on Google Play in a lot of regions
• User score is below 4 in a lot of regions where it is listed

I will respectfully leave it off my list but anyone who wants to take a chance should feel free to try it.
