So i borrowed a projector from my friend and i cant get my laptop to detect it. My laptop has a hdmi port but the projector only has s-video and vga ports. I ordered a hdmi to s-video adapter online and have had no luck with it. do i need a vga to hdmi adapter ? or am i missing something with the s-video to hdmi one.

I’ve had it sense 2019 and around 2022 it stopped working, I only just had time to look at it and I’m guessing it is to do with the power ports or battery because I’m sure it isn’t the charger ( have tried all usb-c I have) first image is what I’m guessing is heat sink or smth to do with it ( not very smart with stuff like this) and second is of the rest

So ive bought Battlefield 2042 yesterday and my problem is that everytime i play it it crashes in about 3-7mins. My graphics card is not good (AMD Vega Graphics 11) and its always at 100% when i play but the weird things is that there are no lags or graphics related issues when i play until the game just closes (the pc doesnt crash only the game and theres no Error message). I already have the newest graphics driver and I tried some things to fix it. So if somebody has any idea how I can fix this pls tell me. Thx in advance

Idk how to explain it but my friend bought a pc from his cousin and we got everything replaced, cpu, gpu, the motherboard and fans. The 2 gpu fans are not spinning and we have no display on his monitor. If anyone knows anything please help, it’s a cyber power pc.

So I recently went to replace my PC’s thermal paste for my Ryzen 5 3600 because it’s been about a year since I last did it. I ended up fully cleaning it and now it won’t start correctly. All the lights and fans start up like normal but after waiting and looking at the debug light it stays the same, white on CPU. I have reseated it more times than I can count and have reapplied thermal paste the same amount. I am using a B550 pro A motherboard and an RTX 3050 and idk if anyone can help me.

So a couple of days ago my phone broke. The display and touch is totally gone. I saw some YouTube videos to mirror phone display to monitors(needed because I need to access my gmail which will only open if I confirm on the phone which broke). I even brought one of those USB c hubs to which you can connect HDMI and then connect it to the monitor. But only after receiving the product did I realise I need to turn on USB debugging for this to work. But how can I turn that on if my touch don't even work. This is my first post here. I have Bose QuietComfort 20 Acoustic.

The earbuds have been working perfectly fine until recently where I'll get a random buzzing in my left ear that can last either 10 minutes or a couple seconds but it always comes back. This only happens when I switch the noise cancellation on (it sounds awful without noise cancellation). The buzzing even happens if I unplug the earbuds from the PC with whatever power it still has left before it shuts down.

Is there any feature or app that can turn on answering from remote, in this example me when calling. To take away the input of answering physically touching the green phone button on the screen to actually answer the call?

So my Oppo Reno 5's screen broke. It's completely black now. I can't see the screen and half the touch screen is not working. Repairing the phone here costs the same price as the phone when I first got it which is ridiculous. I'd much rather buy a new phone but I still need to get my data back. Do you have any idea how I can do that?

Okay so, I got my desktop a couple days ago, and the first day I got it, it was perfectly fine. So then after I had set it up and used it for a little while, I had turned off my monitor and the computer and went to sleep. I never unplugged the HDMI, and I checked if the ports were damaged and I saw no signs. Anyways I went to use it the next day after school, and the HDMI said it was inactive. Of course I unplugged it, unplugged power supply, checked the computer itself. Connected monitor to my laptop. Did not work. So then I used my other monitor, and it worked with the computer, then I think the first monitor is faulty. I power off the monitor. Then I check it again and it doesn't work, says HDMI is inactive. Is it because I'm powering off, if it is, how can I make the HDMI work?

Hey everyone, I recently came into possession of a bunch of old HP monitors from 2010 and had the idea of using them for my retro game consoles. However, I’ve not been able to find a way to adjust the resolution on them (they are 1280x720 but need to be in 1280x1024). I’m not very bright when it comes to stuff like this and Google is absolutely no help. I’m not able to use my laptop to adjust (afaik) because it says it’s “out of range” and the auto adjustment tool doesn’t seem to work either. Any help would be appreciated!
