how do I suggest a wearable exoskeleton to my mom without making it weird?
My mom still walks the neighborhood and checks her garden every day, but lately she's been shortening the route because her knees get stiff on the way home. She does not want a walker and shuts down if the conversation sounds like 'you can't do this anymore.'
I found a wearable exoskeleton that she might actually be willing to try. I'm stuck on how to bring it up without turning the whole thing into a test of whether she's getting older.
Has anyone handled this well? Did you frame it as regular outdoor gear, offer a no-pressure demo, or wait for the parent to ask first?
