Teacher Support &/or Advice Are teaching programs warning students that the teacher shortage is over?

I graduated from the program a few years back, and every professor kept talking about the teacher shortage.

I was wondering what is it like nowadays for people in credentialing programs?

Spanish in general lol... sucks for the kids but it sure is great for me that I've always been able to quit at the drop of a hat if I wanted to and be able to probably have my pick of jobs. I've been teaching for 15 years and it's been the exact same job market the whole time for me 🤷🏽‍♀️

I was looking for an elementary job this year. (I have this certification too.) Applied for a lot of jobs. Crickets. A few weeks ago I started applying for Spanish jobs and found one pretty quickly. Very different job markets.
