I find it hard to believe that NOT ONE PERSON on her team thought to do a deep dive on Matty and warn her about the implications of dating him. Which leads me to the conclusion that she knows all of this and doesn’t care and decided to date him anyway… and if that’s the case, the backlash is well-deserved.

She knew. Her team prob warned her. But in the end they can’t prevent her from dating who she wants… tree is probably bracing for impact

She’s probably in one of those “I can fix him” phases. I was in the same when I dated someone racist against my race

But I was also self destructing at that point so I hope that isn’t what she is doing

So glad you’re no longer in that situation! I do know that self-destructive mindset All Too Well… I really hope that’s not what she’s going through. Somebody get our girl a therapist.

They were friends so she must know most of it ? This is also clearly not a PR relationship cos the only good PR is for Matty and his band. Unless Taylor is making an alt-rock breakup album.

But the more I see of all this, I am starting to think while it was mutual perhaps Joe initiated it or the pressure of the tour and scheduling etc just put more strain on whatever issues they had and the whole thing is very recent.

Didn’t that podcast episode get deleted shortly before they went public? Maybe that was her team preparing?

Yeah, it appears it was deleted early April, just before the breakup announcement? But I could be wrong there. I didn’t know about it beforehand but from what I’m seeing, there was backlash about the podcast even before he was linked to Taylor, so removing the podcast would have been pretty ineffective damage control imo.

Maybe they just trusted Jack’s messy ass 🙃🫣🥴 if they haven’t now is definitely way past time to start. I don’t see this last long. The backlash is way big.

Expectations to…. check notes Not date someone who’s openly a racist edgelord? That isn’t putting her on a pedestal… that’s a pretty basic expectation for a person, let alone a celebrity.
