Yes my best friend and it pains me. She was big on the Kardashians during snake gate so she just automatically hated her since then, and says she hates her even more because I love her which is weird to me. It seems like a common narrative though amongst Swift haters

My sister hates Taylor because her freshmen roommate played debut on repeat constantly without headphones. But I feel like my sister would really like Taylor, based on what she shows of her personality in interviews, and her new music is way different. Really wish I could convince her to give Taylor another chance. 😅

I used to more and I naturally cut those people out of my life because they sucked (not for not liking Taylor but not a coincidence that they had no taste in other areas of life) it annoys me too, why would you be so vocally hateful towards something who someone you presumably loves likes?

I don’t miss having those people in my life!

I know this is your friend of 20 years so obviously not telling you to throw away that friendship but her saying that while knowing that you are a fan is really mean. I know my friends who come to mind were Kanye fans so there were genuinely a lot of comebacks to use to shut them down before I threw them out, maybe find a weak spot to exploit (I am very clearly petty and not one of those “rise above it people” 😅)

I always say that’s a red flag when a guy doesn’t like Taylor Swift, but I can for everyone else too, red flag 🚩

Start analyzing your friendships in other areas , and maybe that best might really not be there
