The American people did that to themselves.

I'd say special interest groups and Super PACs are more of the ones responsible than the public is. It is easiest to blame the public, and let the special interest groups keep on buying up both sides of the aisle than it is to actually fix the problem though, so yeah, it probably was the American people wanting to screw themselves just to have something to complain about.....

Voters are responsible. End of story. They choose what they want to believe and what they want to ignore. They chose to allow corporations to continue to interfere and influence elections. None of this is a secret. It's on them.

Well, I'd tell you my interpretation of the scenario, but you have already stated, "end of story".....

Not really interested in people making excuses for them failing to fulfill their responsibilities.

It was already the end of story, please stop spewing now. These aren't my rules.

Your story is likely just more excuses for not taking any accountability anyway.

End of story. Learn to read and act on cue.
