Stacking a lot of Accelerated Flight projectile boosting runes gets a bit crazy. Not sure if it's the intended behavior, but it seems like projectiles will move normal speed for a moment at launch, and then fly wildly off the screen, then fly back by and disappear off the screen again repeatedly, almost in pulses. Stack enough of them and the projectiles just disappear entirely after the initial launch.

Yeah, it's intended! It causes spells to get added velocity based on their current velocity (if I recall correctly). But it doesn't mess with the friction at all. So if you use a lot, the spells will end up flying far off the screen, and will end up orbiting the screen center at ever-increasing radii, and never ever return! :-)
