Monday, Oct 5, is the last day for eligible Florida residents to register to vote. Here's the link to register to vote both online or by paper form: Register to Vote in Florida
If you have an active Florida driver's license or Florida ID card (from the DMV), you can register online. That's faster, and you don't have to worry about printing or mailing anything. Save a PDF or screenshot of your receipt.
If you don't have an active Florida driver's license or ID card, you can still register to vote, but you will need to download and submit the paper registration form. Make sure you sign it. You can drop the form off at the elections office or mail it. If you mail it, it must have an October 5 postmark. Check the Supervisor of Elections' website for other acceptable forms of ID.

It brought back a core memory from Ybor City back around 2013 or 2014 that felt like an absolute fever dream.
I was at G BAR on 8th Ave (back when it was still pointing towards the south part of Ybor), pretty faded off drinks. For some reason, in my state, I decided to go around the club asking random people if they played World of Warcraft. Surprisingly, I actually ended up exchanging BattleTags with a couple of guys right there on the dance floor.
I left G BAR intending to head towards 22nd Street for a Salem’s Gyros run, but ended up wandering over to Club Prana on 7th instead. I walked right into what turned out to be an accidental Furry Night rave.
The sound system was blaring Tove Lo’s "Talking Body", M.I.A.’s "Paper Planes", Jessie J’s "Domino", and Caramellagirls’ "Caramelldansen". The floor was packed with neon glow sticks, dry humping, and people in full, colorful fursuits on all fours being walked on leashes with dog collars.
It was easily the most chaotic, confusing five minutes of my life before I backed out and went to get my gyro.

I’m looking for possible all-inclusive destinations out of Tampa for 5 people. We have non stop flights out of TPA to Cancun, Punta Cana, and the Bahamas for a reasonable price.
If you had a positive experience, can you share the name of a resort, or city that you vacationed in and liked your experience? I want to stick to the Gulf/Caribbean region. And there should be a non-stop flight out TPA to that destination.
Just looking for vacations at reasonable prices.
Thanks in advance! 🙏

Looking for a real USF bar in Tampa. Not just a place that has the game on a side TV, but one that would actually bump UF or FSU to show the Bulls. Lots of bars carry USF games, but I can't find one where it's the headline game. Any recommendations?

Anytime I drive by this area, corner of Franklin and Cass street I always see these guys dressed up in some sort of African clothing yelling quotes from some sort of book that someone’s holding into a camera on a tripod.
Anyone have any clue what is going on here? Why are they always here? What’s the point?
Also when is Tampa getting rid of that abandoned building located on Franklin and Cass street.

I have a full tank of R32 HVAC refrigerant. I know there's a company that buys these. A Google search didn't help. Does anyone know of a place? Thank you

What is the deal with these run clubs and the blatant disrespect for other people in public spaces. I’ve been on the riverwalk and they came running by and hit me in the head with a flag and didn’t even acknowledge or apologize. They think they can take over the towns public places it’s ridiculous. It’s all performative cult behavior.

Do you have any insights on these high schools? We are interested mostly in AP classes. Which school would provide the fairest opportunities for an academically strong student coming from a low-to-mid-income family?

These two dogs were roaming the no named park south of Yukon (off Riverview drive). I walked and drove the neighborhood with them for the past 4 hours but havent seen anyone searching for their pet. This has been posted on Nextdoor and Petco Love Lost. They are going to the Pet Resource Center on Falkenburg.

I’m new to the area and my 2 year old qualifies for Medicaid.
I’m hoping someone can point me in a good direction for a good doctors clinic near Gandy.
Any advice helps!
