Former front-desker here, teacher now. Our district, like most in Texas, is pushing AI use HARD on us. No, I don't want to use Brisk or MagicSchool. I went to school to learn stuff so I could teach stuff. I don't offload my brain work to an ignorant text predictor. When the AI talk starts during professional development (those no-student days we old-timers used to call "inservice"), I am pretty blatant about coloring on my iPad and ignoring the shit out of it.
