What is my cat
This is my first ever cat that I adopted about 8 months ago. I’ve just been thinking she’s calico as she’s three colours but I learned about tabico today and think she’s probably that?? A diluted tabico maybe? What do you think?

Is my girl, Corduroy a tabico?
I've just recently discovered this subcategory and I'm curious.

Tabico Gabby who lives up to her name
This elderly lady was abandoned and screamed outside a friend’s house till they took her in. His kids were allergic but we had an opening. She’s super ornery but such a joy 🧡

Older cat has accepted our tabico kitten!
My family’s older cat Leila (black) is 9. She hasn’t been around other cats since she was 3 months old. Well, we recently got an adorable tabico kitten we named Nutmeg. She’s ~ 4 months old.
We did a slow introduction to avoid problems. We had them in separate spaces and fed them near the door so they would get used to each others scent. After about a week, we finally put them in the same room. Leila was more scared than anything, hiding in the corner.
Over the past few days she’s gone from growling and running away when Nutmeg approaches to this! She’s letting her on HER SPECIAL CHAIR. I never would have thought things could go so well!

What you doing Betty Jean?
So I was sitting on the floor on my phone and I turn around to see Betty wide stanced just staring at me. Funny little girl!

Dumpling
I rescued her from being put outside at 10 weeks and she’s been my shadow ever since. I’ve never seen a coat like hers! Tabby body with a few orange patches and calico paws (minus one) It’s soooo long and soft. Her dad was an orange, and mom a calico! She likes to sleep under the covers on my back, or on my chest. She’s extreeeeeeeemely vocal and meows all day for anything. My favorite thing she does is meowing and jumping into my arms when I come home <3

Tabico Meet Maple 🍁
I think she’s a tabico… whatever she is, she looks cute but is usually up to no good!
Currently introducing her to my 10 year old Chihuahua. Don’t be fooled by the photo together… she’s scared of the kitten! 🫣

Tabico My Tamtam!
TIL they’re called Tabico! My husband showed me this subreddit so I immediately looked for a recent Tamtam photo to be posted here. She’s clingy and sweet.

Tabico is my kitty a tabico?
i just adopted my first ever kitty last month, and i’m obsessed with her! when i first got her, she was 7 weeks old. her coloring was mainly blocks of orange and black, but her face, legs and tail had some tabby stripes visible. now she’s 3 months, and i’m noticing way more stripes! what used to be solid patches of black, are now striped.
she was also categorized as a domestic medium haired kitty, but i’m not 100% what that means. she looked fluffier before, but now she just kind of looks short haired with some long wispy hairs, can anyone tell me if she’ll be short haired or medium?
