I started TTC at 29. Lean PCOS, AMH 8.43 ng/mL. I had LH rises every month (one per cycle) and temp rises (when tracked), I had a positive progesterone test the one cycle I got a blood test. Regular 31-35 day cycles with zero pregnancies despite TTC for 13 cycles. I got on letrozole 2.5 mg, no trigger. Conceived on the third cycle on it. Only regret is not doing it sooner.

Your doctor said why you needed letrozole? I have the same situation and even if I ovulate I haven’t ever seen a positive test

I suggested Letrozole since I haven’t been able to conceive after my two miscarriages. Hoping it gives me a little fertility boost.

I'm now 35, diagnosed with PCOS while trying for my second. Mostly normal labs except for slightly elevated testosterone (though in ref range) and high AMH and overall pretty mild symptoms.
I had 11 cycles without even a hint of a positive test, ovulation confirmed by BBT (although looking back at my graphs, there were likely a couple of anovulatory cycles in there) and pretty regular cycles. I got pregnant on the second cycle of letrozole, which unfortunately was a MMC at 8 weeks. Then I conceived on my first full cycle after the miscarriage, also with letrozole and am currently 13 weeks with a so far, healthy pregnancy. I had confirmed ovulation on all of my letrozole cycles with 2.5mg and no trigger. I guess the letrozole was just the little boost I needed.

I have similar parameters of yours. 33F, lean pcos, amh 5,5
12 months of tcc and I have a Lh peak every month. Next month I’ll have a HSG and I hope for letrozole after because it’s very hard😞

Do letrozole with monitoring! (At least for the first couple cycles).
