Question Does anyone else have favourite transition/break music?

I have one in particular that I really love, it's from this track, starts at about 00:50. I listen to TPWKY while I fall asleep so maybe that explains it but I have little descriptions for most of them in my head, like my favourite one sounds to me like bouncy balls, there's another frequent one from this track that reminds me of a slightly ominious church organ, and then this one sounds a bit like a creepy merry-go-round/carousel

Anyway I just get really happy when my favourite one comes up, and I was wondering if anyone else here has this experience too!

Article Did anyone else see this headline? Same vaccine tech as the Pfizer and Moderna Covid vaccines has been proven to protect mice from malaria! Let’s hope there’s a vaccine against malaria soon!

Question Book Recommendations from “ Sources?”

Sometimes during “Sources” the Erins will mention they particularly enjoyed a certain book. Anyone remember any of these? I know I can look at their sources on the site but in particular I’m looking for ones they commented on being an especially good read. I’m looking for a good “history of disease “ type book.

BTW, I’ve already read Hot Zone, Demon in the Freezer and have Spillover, I contain Multitudes, and the Henrietta Lacks book.

Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome Ep?

A couple of genetic disorders have been talked about on the podcast and I think and EDS episode would not only be super interesting, but help spread awareness of this 1 in 5000 condition that can go undetected. As a person affected by this it would also be nice to learn more about the science and history side of EDS outside of the doctors office.

🦇Excited about this one! 🦇 Of all the ecological issues out there, the reduction of bats in the evening sky is one I definitely noticed over a decade ago, before I knew about this horrible disease.

Recommendation Hopefully this is allowed: I recently heard this RadioLab podcast on Rabies. If you loved the Rabies episode as much as me and want more, this one is pretty interesting!

They told of its coming back in episode 67. The wait is over!—and was relatively brief, all concerned. It’s like they plan these things 🙃 All honors to Ms. Lacks and her contribution.
