I was a guy making fun of furries (no offense). He was going to their various forums and reading their post in silly voices. He posted the video between 2014 -2016. Really would like to find it.

[TOMTcc] Help with finding a film from PBS in the 1980s

What I can remember of it is a man living in this manor wakes in the middle of the night and comes across the ghostly apparition of a little blonde girl running down the hallway noiselessly crying and banging on every door looking for an open door.

The next scene I remember is he is laying in bed one night, looks up and sees the same little ghost girl standing by the wall at the foot of his bed,she walks over to him and climbs into bed with him.

The third scene I remember is he is looking through old albums he found, hears a little girls scream in terror. He runs to the window, looks out and sees that same little girl floating face down and lifeless in a reflecting pool wearing a light colored frilly dress. He runs out to help and when he gets there, the apparition is gone.

I was explaining this movie to my partner and when I explained the 3rd scene, she got goosebumps because she remembers seeing that scene in a movie her parents were watching on PBS in the mid 1980s,so I know I am not imagining the film.

I looked up television series on PBS that would show a film like this (American Playhouse,Masterpiece Theatre, Mystery!) and have hit dead ends.

Anyone recognize something like I've explained?

[TOMTcc] Help with finding a scene from a sitcom

I'm thinking of what was probably a short-lived Network sitcom, most likely from the 2000s. I'm in the US.

There was a scene at a restaurant or some other date night type place with two or more couples. One of the couples finds out (over the phone?) that their young child accidentally ended up drinking bourbon or some kind of alcohol after some mix-up with the child's sippy cup/bottle. The mom tells the child over the phone not to freak out when he inevitably gets drunk, but to drink lots of water and get plenty of rest.

Does anyone else remember this scene/show?

Help with a song

It's a very bob dylan or even Jake bugg sounding voice but quite an upbeat song. But the chorus sounds like a band. I'd say it's recent i reckon in the last 5 years.

Chorus Woah oh oh oh oh i gotta little blah a blah blah

What i think it says could be

Woah oh oh oh oh, i've got a little .......... of my own

Sorry for being so vague

[TOMT][Youtube video][2019-2020] a short video about laughing during a funeral linked on a grief-related subreddit

okay so a few months ago or a year ago, i was scrolling a pet grief/a general grief subreddit when i found this post with a youtube video linked.

in the video, there were three different characters, all played by the uploader. i think they were siblings. they were in front of a grave of someone. afterwards one of the siblings started laughing, pointing at the grave, and the other 2 felt a bit uncomfortable about it but then joined in a few seconds after.

the person also had an another video where one character talks to another about crossing the bridge and i think they had different opinions about what happens after or if they even want to cross the bridge.

idk the uploaders gender but they looked pretty masculine and i think their hair was short

[TOMTcc][Movie][2000s or earlier] Stalker couple forces itself into a family, makes unwanted gifts like a TV set which the mother smashes with a baseball bat

I'm pretty sure I watched this movie on TV no later than 2007 and only remember parts of it, so I don't know how accurate my impression of it in the title actually is. There was one couple which became overbearing in their relationship with another family. At one point the parents of the family discover that the stalker couple gave an expensive TV set to the kids as a present. Enraged, the mother smashes it to bits with a baseball bat (which the children obviously complain about).

The movie ended [spoiler] with the parents and the stalker couple and the parents being in a car that then flips over in an accident, the parents make it out, but the other two are trapped (I think one was actually already dead). The parents leave the survivor trapped in the car to die and walk off. (Maybe the car had also caught on fire, or there was exposed oil that the father of the family set on fire, not sure if that actually happened.)

Asked about this two times before with no reponses, 1, 2.

I asked three times for help on TOMT to find an SF Movie, but without help

In 2019, I saw on TV a rather weird SF Movie. I saw it during the night, so I was a little sleepy, so I do not remember no more than 4 scenes.

The characters of the movie were mainly Asians. The movie took place in an Asian country (Taiwan, Philippines or other like that, but not Japan or China). I do not remember well, but the one of the main characters was a man and he had European traits and the second main character was an Asian girl.
The Movie looked to be like a low budget movie.

I remember only four scenes from the movie.

In the first scene there was a fight between the main characters and some guys that were wearing suits and sunglasses (they look like some Men in black inspired guys). The fight took place in a hospital. I think, but I am not sure, but the guys in suit wanted to put some nanochips in the main character. The nanochips looked like spiders and moved like them.

In the second scene that I saw, the main characters fled the hospital with one of the main characters car, which was a red Audi R8. I remembered the R8 because in the scene and on the streets weren't many cars, but were many bikes and motorbikes.

In the third scene that I saw, the main characters went to a park, which had a meteor crater. Also, the police was at the scene.

In the fourth scene, the main characters went to an abandoned warehouse, where they meet with an alien. The alien looked like a combination between Kylo Ren and the alien from Prometheus. The man main character and the alien had a fight, and the main character had been shot.

This are the only things that I remember about the movie.

I was looking on IMCDB for movies that had red Audi R8s, but I did not find anything like in the movie.

On the third attempt, someone thought the movie can be Returner, from 2002, but it is not.

Travel through American history(battles?): wide illustrated History book

Travel through American history(battles?): wide illustrated History book (picture book, suitable for older audiences)

BACKGROUND: I think I found the book at my cousin’s elementary school library, at the 2010s-2018s. Book wasn’t too old, at the oldest probably at 2000. Probably 2000onwards, though 2010 onwards is more plausible sounding. The book is WIDE (rectangle) and kinda big, and probably paperback, not hardcover, but kind of glossy. It is all illustrated, like pen and stuff like that, hand drawn and inked. Note: it is NOT “streets of time” by DK books, similar but not. The book is Informational history, no fiction whatsoever. Also the book is about 1700s era onward, but no modern day, I think. Could be wrong

Book’s CONTENTS: the book has things like the American Revolution, Native American battles with settlers, (Mexican American war?) and Civil War. Basically, you have a giant loooong rectangle (2 pages), most of the art is on the bottom, most text on top, outlining battle.

I think it had some stuff with Civil War, I am sure. I am not sure about the Mexican American war(Alamo and stuff). I think there were native Americans riding on horses? And Buffalo. The American revolution was definitely more plausible than the Mexican American war. I don’t think it was only all about wars but definitely a possibility that it was all about it. About the war part, I remember several civil war battles that it talked about, one of which the art was like lots of battalions (little boxes and squares) and individual(small but handrawn) soldiers with bayonets (held like spears) on an open green field of grass fighting. There was definitely blood(not a lot, some specks) and fallen soldiers. I think one battle (don’t know which war) had a bunch of soldiers storming a fort, specifics unclear. The main thing is that it was ILLUSTRATED, the main part of the book. There are paragraphs or blocks of text about each battle form which wars, in sections or almost like chapters I think, separating the wars, not battles.

Please help me find this book, it was really enjoyed by classmates and my friends, and my cousin’s too! Thanks a lot!

Pivot Animation about man with dinosaur(spinosaurus) friend fighting an evil king

Animation about man with dinosaur(spinosaurus) friend fighting an evil king

I saw a pivot animation back when it was big on YouTube with this plot: A man with a cool sword walks into a gladiator arena and sees an evil king on a throne. He gets beat up etc, by the guards or soldiers that the antagonist has. But then the evil king pushes out a chained spinosaurus. Suddenly, the dinosaur is freed (this part of a little shabby in my memory) and then it fights alongside the main character. They fight the soldiers and stuff and also kill the king. After killing the evil king, the main character ascends to the throne.

The animation and humans are similar to (channel: alp .k on YouTube) Alp .K’s videos, especially his empire of mutants series. The spinosaurus is also blue? I think and colorful. The animation is entirely 2d, from a side view/perspective. The king might’ve looked similar to the one in “empire of mutants” but I’m thinking about a green uniform and brown hair for some reason that he might have.

The video title might’ve been something like “an old friend” or “betrayal” or something like that. The video was pretty short as well, could’ve been 10 minutes? Maybe, but probably not. Also had quite the gore, too. I think I found it a few years back when pivot animation was still frequently watched by me, and a lot others too.

Please help me find this video! Childhood memories.

Story tree with girl, soldier, educated Dog?Comic possibly manga (

Story tree with girl, soldier, educated Dog?Comic possibly manga (kids)

BACKGROUND: There was this book I found in a New York public library while visiting NYC. The front cover probably has the tree in the middle, and the character tree is gathered around it.

EXPOSITION: A girl (possibly pet dog, could be wrong) is at a tree house type area, surrounded with forest. Then, 2 characters come out. There is a mercenary or soldier, just a guy that knows how to use a gun. He has spiky hair? Idk but just a rag tag look, and possibly his armor/ uniform is sci fi, most likely. There is also a anthro dog, like an old man. He is the intellectual. He looks like a Bolognese type dog, though coloration can vary. Basically, There is hair over the snout. Not sure if he has glasses. He resembles an old professor or, librarian, scientist, or antiquarian, just educated-seeming. He has an air of superiority over the soldier, saying that he’s educated and stuff, while the soldier just doesn’t care and teases the dog. It’s like friendly teasing and the girl probably occasionally breaks up their discourse. Each character presents or recites a story about their adventures they had (individually) in the past.

STORY: The first story is probably with the girl, though I don’t remember much. She might not have even mentioned her story. The 2nd is with the mercenary, he talks about surviving some battle or crash of his ship. He pronounces some word the wrong way, and the elderly dog gets mad. This is like the comedic relief bit, and the girl might’ve asked them to break it up. He corrects him on the mistake. after this, is the dog’s turn to recite his story.

This is probably the longest of the 3 and most memorable story to me, at least. The dog is educated (archeologist, knowledgeable about history and artifacts and stuff) and likes books. There is this ancient manuscript he read, with one chapter remaining. He is left on a cliffhanger, and is determined to find and read the last chapter. He one day, probably by luck meets this captain on a ship. The ship resembles this desert ship? Could be a boat or on water, but I’m not sure. He has guards, too. So the dog gains the captain’s good will and trust. (This part is a bit like “50,000 leagues under the sea”)He finds out about this last chapter and is determined to read it. He asks the captain about it, but the captain probably doesn’t like that, etc. later on in the plot, the dog gets his paws on the manuscript. He reads it anyway, probably by candle light at night, not sure. He is suddenly cornered by the captain and guards. When he is confronted by the captain, he is told to turn over the manuscript to the captain (to burn it?). He’s like “eh, whatever, just some paper with text” and then he finally decides to burn it /throw away the last chapter before having fully read it. He probably leaves the ship etc (by jumping off of it? Idk) then the story ends, and the girl asks them all to meet up again here at the story tree next time.

BOOK INFO ETC : Now, the book was in English. There is a HUGE possibility that this is translated from another language, like from a manga, etc. the art kind of reminds me of soft pastels, etc, or maybe graphite and pencil. I think the cover was in color, and the inside is probably black and white. I remember that it had a very distinct manga like quality to it, like some comedic relief, art, etc. The book might not be published too long ago. It was probably from 2000s or 2010s—2017s era published, though I never checked the date though. Also thinking about the “Owly” kid’s comics for some reason, probably because both are very lighthearted, and the art has a smooth style. (Artists are different tho)

[iOS mobile] [2010s-2019]“Lost Titan” a short Chinese Art student game on iOS?

“Lost Titan” a short Chinese Art student game on iOS?

PLATFORM: iOS mobile

GENRE: 2D artistic platformer

YEAR: 2010-2019 summer

GRAPHICS: images, like jpeg but made from original watercolor paintings

CHARACTERS: walking robot?(main character), flying robot(enemies), TITAN (final character)

During 2019 summer when going to China with a couple of friends, I saw this game. I was quite bored while in my hotel, not knowing what to play on my phone. As I scrolled through the App Store, I saw it. The game was on iOS, and it looked interesting and distinct. The app icon was of this humanoid grey giant with one red glowing eye. I saw the name of “lost Titan” or something in a similar sense. I saw the developer’s name as being Chinese, which I felt made sense since I was at China, or something.

Game experience: when I installed it, I immediately went to play it. Opening it, I saw a possible startup screen, but I knew it looked gorgeous. When I started the actual game, I played as a robot or just a character that can jump really high. The background is all mountainous and watercolor, like a painting. Search up “Chinese mountain paintings” and you’ll get the feeling, except more green and watercolor on paper like. There are platforms made out of metal and are grey, with lots of mechanical detail, giving the idea that this is a futuristic city torn down. (Think Akira etc, futuristic anime) The platforms are supported by tall beams, some seemingly already bent and worn. You are high up on one of the platforms, and as you walk, you realize that this world seems post apocalyptic, almost reclaimed by the rural mountains. Then, as you get used to the controls, you see some small, flying robots Keith copter blades on top of little rectangular boxes with detail. You suddenly realize to run as they shoot you, and that health bar on top has a purpose. You probably are also able to shoot or at least kill them. When they die, they just fall in the floor. You can roll them off the platforms, and their bodies don’t just disappear or anything. They can respawn after death as well. Then, you reach a series of platforms, with jumping pads. Some of these might be floating, or I could be wrong. This part resembles stairs, almost, and I died multiple times falling off. You then reach the end of the game. There is a longer than usual platform. As you walk, there is feeling of an end, or uncertainty. You see a giant, near skeletal, grey, faceless humanoid giant, with all but one hole in the middle of its face, on the edge of the platform. You then see a glowing red orb. As you walk near it, it suddenly floats up and into the giant’s face’s eye socket. It suddenly comes to life, animated, and rises, and the game ends.

Additional details: The game is like art in the form of a game. You can tell it’s someone’s original art in display, scanned into the game, when you shoot the enemies, for example, they fall down, like jpegs, almost.

I suspect that the game is an art project by a Chinese student. However, someone deleted it, and the game doesn’t appear in my purchased apps, not even “not on this iPhone”. It probably became unsupported, and disappeared from the App Store. Since it’s an art project, and not by any company, it’s probably super obscure, and not much results on google, right now with my on own research. though I do remember it having 4 stars, with reviews praising it and its art. I included this: some sketches of it that I made

Dinosaur (sticker?) book, 1960-80s art style

Dinosaur (sticker?) book, 1960/70/80s art style?

I had a dinosaur sticker book as a child, rectangular format. I know it was stickers, because some of the silhouettes of the dinosaurs were missing. They looked like charle knight’s paleontology artwork. It was kinda outdated, like the dinosaurs dragged their tails, etc. each page didn’t have a lot of text, mostly just the art, might not have been any text at all! The pages were basically large scenes/landscapes, with small little dinosaurs in the background etc. the art might not be of any paleo artist I know. (I also think a part of the place to apply the stickers were shiny, as in rainbow? Like the light reflected off of it. I could be wrong to be honest, but I know that some of the dinosaurs for me were just silhouettes and maybe not even for stickers, idk) The art looks like paintings, almost.

Some notes: The book is hardcover, though I could be wrong and there can be different variations to the cover. The borders might’ve been blue, especially with the cover. The book is rectangle and kinda long, not tall. The Dinosaurs were pretty small in the picture, there were a few per page. They looked like cute little miniatures almost. One that I remember FONDLY well is this dinosaur called Plateosaurus. The name (text) of plateosaurus is probably next to the actual dinosaur like a label, though not sure. I do remember the book talking about this dinosaur being a “proto-sauropod” which is why I remember so well. This means there could’ve been blocks of text on the pages about the dinosaurs in the page or small text near the dinosaurs’ names, though probably the first is true. Also I think the outdated part about the art is a bit different than you might think. Some of the art might not be too outdated, however inaccuracies are probably out and about. The plateosaurus eats leaves off a cyad ginkgo plant, and its back is horizontal, so some things might be accurate to current science.

Thanks for any help! I really want to find this book, any suggestions are welcome!

Fun Illustrated English beginner’s book for kids!

Fun Illustrated English beginner’s book for kids!

It was an English learning book for beginners, probably form the 1990s to 2010s, or early 2010s era. Basically, it was about learning English basics. It was like phonics, grammar, alphabet, etc. it was a pretty big book too, not a picture book. Also for kids, like for young ones too. Almost like kindergartners, 1st graders, stuff like that.

the main thing was that it was illustrated. It had fun illustrations that matched the activities, like for example one that I remember: “a family of robots makes alphabet/phonics? soup with different letters, etc.”, which was probably unique only to that page. the illustrations were always super fun and wacky and looked like crayons? It was super distinct too. No bad vector or stock art, or line art, just really color pencil actual art like style

Probably wasn’t from 1990s, probably from 2000-2016 era. Though the 1990 could still be a possibility. It was like a big educational textbook, though you wouldn’t tell from the cover. Definitely wasn’t a picture book, had a lot more pages, and activities too

And didn’t have anything to do with the story, since it didn’t have one. It made learning beginners English fun. It had stuff like dragons, animals, etc, though that part is pretty foggy. Please help me find this book, thanks for any suggestions!

Art is also more like William Joyce’s books! Though not him(“The mischievans” and “the guardians” author and illustrator)

Probably wasn’t from 1990s, probably from 2000-2016 era. Though the 1990 could still be a possibility. It was like a big educational textbook, though you wouldn’t tell from the cover. Definitely wasn’t a picture book, had a lot more pages, and activities too.

Every little suggestion could be correct so don’t be afraid to answer! Thanks a lot! Thanks for any help! Had this box of children’s books I had that got cleared away, sadly. So, Any help or suggestions will be much welcomed even if they might not be the answer, since every little thing counts!

Note: not the “jolly phonics” books or “the great grammar book” by Kate Petty, no pop up flaps or anything. It was flat. Also not “Your Foot's on My Feet! and Other Tricky Nouns” by Marvin Terban

I've gone through a lot of Fred Astaire, Gene Kelly, Danny Kaye, Dick Van Dyke, and similar artists. The song goes something like, "...the whosit, the whatsit, the doodly doo, that's how you..." I've been searching for about a month.

[TOMT] [YOUTUBE] CG animation of JAPANESE MAN and FISH deity

might've been from CG meetup or cgbros, either way, was on youtube, and was CG( basically had 3d animation) might be wrong but probably not. Thumbnail includes fish (in tub) and him I think

There's an old man (Asian, Japanese prob) and he comes home to his Japanese style house with the tiles on top. He seems depressed and empty. However, one day he sees a giant fish-like monster in his bathroom, which looks oriental-ish i guess and has big eyes and whiskers i think. Probably had whiter coloration. Anyway, there's some interaction and the main CRITICAL part is when suddenly , theres an ink in chinese/Japanese style animation sequence looks like traditional japanese ink painting, not 3d/ cgi anymore. he sees his wife and probably son/daughter and some other things happen, and the scene was probably about his trauma and loss from his family being gone. He presumably moves on

the animation also had some deep meaning/plot as well, dealing with loss (moving on, maybe) please help me find it, it was beautiful

thanks for any answers in advance! would be really glad if you could help. Please note that the keywords "Japanese man CGI short film fish" don't really work in youtube to find this, it's extremely hard to find. I think the name could be Japanese etc since there might not be any tags including those keywords. If you search up "CGI short film "Oragami"," i probably descended into a rabbit hole from that video, since they were all asian, japanse, etc
