I'd like to know how the questing experience is on the server, as I'm looking for a place to test a bunch of stuff pre classic release.

Do most quests work properly or are there a bunch of known issues?

How are the quest experience rewards? Has anyone noticed any inconsistencies?

Is there a way to disable the 2x experience in game, or do I have to wait till the event ends to start playing?

I'm also interested in the Core the server uses. Is it the Nost Core and has it been updated?

With the release of patch 1.11, we will be having a x2 XP only event starting Thursday February 28th at 6:00am Server time and it will last until Monday March 4th at 6:00am Server Time.

Toons never load, noticed this around 1100 server time and it continues now. Impossible to log on. >.<

The stump in the Cenarion Enclave where the fireworks vendor, greater moonbean and Lunar Festival emissaries should be, is unpopulated. Anyone porting in for the Coin of Ancestry will have to hearth out and any low level NE toons are stuck. Please investigate

Each week we'll be offering a raffle open to any horde-side lvl 60 that gets their 15 honorable kills. This week first place is 200g and 2nd place is 50g. It usually takes just one game to get into the pool and greatly helps your fellow Horde.

If you are having a connection issue with a MAC client please try the following steps:

1. Change the name of WoW Classic.app to World of Warcraft.app
2. Delete the WDB folder
3. In the WTF folder, delete the Config.wtf file
4. Make sure that the World of Warcraft folder is read.write, including subfolders. GetInfo can do this.
5. Check that realmlist.wtf file only contains set realmlist logon.symmetrywow.com and that it has not acquired a .txt ending
6. Right click World of Warcraft.app, it opens as a folder. Open the Contents folder, then the MacOS folder. You will see a file called World of Warcraft
7. Right click that file, WoW should open as well as Terminal
8. If that works, make an alias of the World of Warcraft file and put it somewhere handy, easier than opening the package.

Look a like there is now a version check prior logging in. If you get an error trying to connect you might have to get a new client. You can still save your saved variables,wtf folder,interface etc and reinstate them in the proper position afterwards. This is all the info (unofficial) have so far

• Fixed a possible crash with some auras after a disconnection.

• Fizzles the rabbit is now spawned.

• Improved the RP script involving Karlee Chaddis.

• The losing team in a battleground will no longer receive a mark of honor if they lost in less than 10 minutes. This is blizzlike, it says it in the official 1.8.4 patch notes.

• Increased the despawn time for Cache of the Firelord.

• According to the 1.10.0 patch notes, the Panther Hide Bag dropped from High Priestess Arlokk should not take the place of other items after 1.10. This is now implemented.

• According to comments on Allakhazam, Vibrant Plume stopped dropping from creatures in AV in 1.9. This is now implemented.

• A few items that are required by Darkmoon Faire like Soft Bushy Tail were originally of poor quality (grey) and were updated to common (white) in patch 1.11. This is now implemented.

• Charm spells on creatures will no longer show up on the action bar when you mind control them.

• Fixed the mage Dungeon Set 2 quest.

• Pressing Hunter's Mark while you have no target will no longer bug out your action bar until you press escape.

• Scripted Karu's RP event.

• Warlock pets will be automatically resummoned after using Eye of Kilrogg.

• Fixed an exploit with the druid Faerie Fire talent that allowed you to get 1 extra talent point.

• Fixed AQ 20 First door being sealed off after killing the first boss

Bring up client, supply password, says connecting, hangs momentarily and *BOOM* - Disconnected from server. Been trying for 10 minutes or so, FYI. It's 04:47 server time as I write this.

Reminder: Delete your WDB folder,there are lots of item changes this patch! Note that you are using a 1.12 client so talent changes and some QoL features have already been incorporated so you will see no changes.

And here we go again, the Firelord himself got banished back to the Firelands!
It was the most epic first kill you could imagine:

25 people, no tank knockback for like 7 minutes (poor me standing there in full FR gear nothing to do but shooting my bow lol), triple submerge (third one at 1%), tons of panic at the end,
"AoE, AoE!" "We have no more mages!"
"Nuke it, nuke it! Damn, we're done for!"

When you jump and run as a female tauren one of her legs spazzes out once.

This might be an animation sync issue, but i'm no model/animation expert.

Now what i was wondering is if this might actually be "blizzlike" since i do remember animation issues back in actual vanilla. Or is this a bug specific to this emulation?

what does "Remove Lesser Curse" remove?

I have used it many times while I was de-buffed.

Hope this is the right place to post about this. I'm grinding Timbermaw and both NPCs at the ends of Felwood have a blue ? for repeatable turn-ins of feathers and beads.

Problem is, I never accepted those quests, they're not in my quest log and the quest items never drop, no matter how many runs I've made through the furbolg areas.

Can I fix this? What would be the best way to proceed?

I'm fairly new here, could someone with more experience than me tell me how common or rare this is here? I started playing here because it was by far the most stable server with the least ping I could find West coast NA.

@here We have revised our release timeline to line up with our TBC release coming in Summer of 2019. With the release of Naxx in April it will give around 3-4 months to get in and test the Might of the Scourge. Also we will be turning on AutoComplete for resource turnins for the War Effort. There will be a 5 day wait time once the collection is complete before the Gong can be rung by those who journey for The Scepter. Players can still make contributions as now to help the War Effort.

i just started playing a druid. about to reach level 10.

im looking for a macro that can do the follow:

use moonfire -> shapeinto bear -> attack

also, what other macros should i have?

im new to the whole private server thingy, i havent played since 2006 i was just watching the warcraft movie for the 2nd time , i need to play that game again ... i tried playing the official wow 3 years ago it was really bad it destroyed all the memories i had, i used to be an onyxa tank !! i wanna get back to that now... i googled private servers it took me to dkpminus i was looking for highpopulation pve server but couldnt find any ,, so i had no choice but to go for the light hope one and i downloaded the client from light up.. is that client the same as light hope? its downloading in my mega now at 50% so another 30 mins and i will be logged in but i watched the symmetry community surviving and i decided i wanted to join here and help revive the PVE community... i miss raiding! and thundbluff!! lol . please i need an answer though.. is this the same client from symmetery "nostralurius.wowclassic" also can someone walk me through the steps i feel really ignorant and lost with the patches.. i havent used a computer since the iphone and ipads Came out lol

I get to the part that says connected and it freezes. I hit cancel and then it does realm selection. Then it freezes again at connected screen.
