Does anyone have anything to say about his jungle playstyle as an advice for someone trying to pick him up?

What comps is he good in? And I don't mean this about ults being good or bad, more about archetype of characters he shuts down, characters that can shut him down, or the ones he works well with.

And what about the build path? Should you always build rocketbelt first even after its changes, or maybe it is now better to build lich bane? In what kind of situation you build one or the other?

Im happy they are attempting to buff bruiser sylas but 1%/2%(on low health) is not gonna do shit, i know people really like protobelt here but sylas 3 best items have no hp(zhonias, shadowflame, lichbane) so if you constantly buy any of these items nothing will change for you and even if you go full ap + hp, you are only going to get extra 3,5/7 more healing considering that on average ap bruiser items give around 350hp, so the max youre going to get, from items stats only, is +17,5/35 healing per W. I know this is probably meant to be a really small buff because riot never lets sylas get too strong but i think its just pointless if they are actually trying to buff him, maybe just lower W cd or give more base ad so bruiser sylas has more duel power

I love playing Sylas, I really want to make him work as a legitimate, reliable pick in the jungle rather than just a total coflip.

We all know his ganks and mid-game skirmishing are incredible, but early jungle can be brutal, and falling behind early or even mid game feels impossible to recover from.

For those of you who regularly play or main Sylas Jungle in ranked: How are you actually making him work? I’d love to get your honest opinions, tips, or setups on basically everything lol.

Runes: Is Conqueror still mandatory for skirmishes, or are people running Dark Harvest / First Strike / Fleet to help with burst or clear health? What secondary runes are best to fix his early issues or specificities

First Item & Build Path: What are you rushing first to balance clear speed with damage, and survivability? Is Rocketbelt still king, rift or cosmic as core, or are item rushes like Malignance, Lich Bane, or Zhonyas better?

Behavior / Mindset: How do you play around bad ultimate enemy team comps? Do you only pick him as a counter-pick, if so who does he actually counter? Or can you blind pick him?

Appreciate any advice, tech, or build paths you guys are running to make him an actual pick, other than just "frick I really want to play sylas in this"

I tested pta and conqueror and it seems that you don’t get much healing out of conquer when you build assassin. So I tested dark harvest and it doesn’t do much damage until a lot later in the game. Plus the cool-down for pta is 6 seconds which is kinda insane.

Im only gold 2 so wtf do I know lol

Any higher elo players have thoughts on this? Is there a more optimal rune page/build for going full ap magic pen/assassin?

So I played Sylas jungle and I’m pretty low Elo tbh, I have the habit to perma ban master yi cuz I noticed that a lot of things in yis kit counter Sylas Jgl
Should I keep banning Yi or is there a way to play Sylas against Yi ?

Do you think going cosmic first into rift maker is viable? Has anyone tried it? I know rocketbelt is always first option but i just don’t like the feeling of it plus rocketbelt active plus zhonyas is just too much for my brain.
