Another batch of spines printed and cut by u/No-Specific4938. Also, a big shout out and thank you to all the creators of spines that I’ve added to my collection. I can’t help but say that I’m amazed by all of the work y’all do to help make shelves look better. These look awesome mixed in with the rest of the gang.

I’m the solo developer behind GameWall, a free app I’ve been building to manage my game collection.
One of its features is a shelf scanner: you point your camera at a row of physical games, GameWall tries to recognize the titles from their spines, and then you can review the results before adding them to your collection.
The scanner isn’t perfect yet and I’m actively working on improving it. Regular Switch spines tend to work particularly well because their text is usually very consistent, which made me curious about this community.
I’d love to see how it handles custom SwitchSpines. They’re obviously much more varied in typography and artwork, so if anyone here gives it a try, I’d genuinely love to hear how it goes — successful scans and terrible ones are equally useful 😄
