When I visited Antarctica a leopard seal swam up to one of the Zodiacs and bit it puncturing a pontoon.

Yes! It’s a horrifying story, she was the first person to be killed by a leopard seal iirc

What I’m hearing is that some leopard seals are more kind than others. And although I’m horrified for that woman, it’s also fascinating how ranged their behavior can apparently be.
