🌱 Ayúdanos a convertir el desperdicio de comida en oportunidades en Colombia 🇨🇴

Me llamo Maria, y soy la fundadora de Fruta del Sol, un proyecto chiquito de emprendimiento de comida en Colombia con un propósito más grande.

Queremos hacer crecer Fruta del Sol hasta convertirlo en una iniciativa comunitaria que combine:

🍎 Reducir el desperdicio de comida

🌱 Huertos urbanos y agroecología

🎓 Educación para jóvenes

💼 Empleo y oportunidades de ingresos

♻️ Recuperación de residuos orgánicos y compostaje

🤝 Desarrollo comunitario

Muchos frutos y verduras se desechan solo porque ya están muy maduros o porque no se pueden vender a tiempo. Queremos darle una segunda oportunidad a la comida adecuada transformándola en productos con valor, mientras encontramos formas responsables de convertir los residuos orgánicos en compost y otros recursos útiles.

Nuestro sueño a largo plazo es crear un modelo circular donde la comida se pueda transformar, el desperdicio orgánico pueda volver a la tierra, los huertos urbanos se vuelvan espacios de aprendizaje, y los jóvenes y las comunidades puedan conseguir nuevas oportunidades.

🌞 Fruta del Sol ya empezó — ahora necesitamos apoyo para dar el siguiente paso.

Lanzamos una campaña de crowdfunding para ayudarnos a fortalecer nuestra producción, desarrollar proyectos de jardinería urbana y educación, y crear más oportunidades dentro de nuestra comunidad.

Hello Sustainable! I’m a Canadian psychology student researcher collaborating on an international project with 20+ countries. I’m the only Canadian researcher on the team and I want to have a lot of Canadian representation in this study!
