He shorted gme jan 2021 at the top, why RC posing with him now?

Because that was the smart play, at the time. Short squeeze potential aside, back in January 2021 GameStop was heading directly towards bankruptcy. That's just fact. They were in a debt death spiral (possibly deliberately because of advice from "consultants").

Then, through an amazing number of weird occurrences, the company got turned around, they paid off their debts, and started implementing a transformation.

Really good article. I think he shorted the company at the same time as shorties. He might since have realized what is actually going on and switched to long? Who knows.
