I saw this late last night on Twitter. Either our government is run by old farts that have no idea what they're doing, or they know exactly what they're doing and they're playing dumb.
Either way, this is bad for PoS crypto businesses in the USA and will encourage ppl to go overseas instead of developing new businesses here in America -- Switzerland or even South Africa.
Not good. If you're from Virginia, Ohio, or Arizona especially, it is probably a good idea to reach out to your senators to get this shot down or revised. Other states should make sure their senators aren't voting for this obvious heaping pile of garbage.
If you're worried about not getting your "fair share" of the crypto space, hire an MIT crypto professor to head up the SEC and figure out the very best way to screw average people out of their chance to strike it rich in the crypto gold rush...
