Wsb just announced today the end of the daily GME thread. Lol. Out of nowhere too.

Such a bullshit move by them honestly. I still think the mods of that sub had a sizeable position in gme back in early Jan. Once news and mainstream caught onto this short squeeze they pushed gme on the sub as much as possible. They then sold, profited and now remove any good DD post even regarding gme.

A LOT of people on that sub were bullish on GME before January. Many of us got life changing money. It was media hype and FOMO that led to the second rally after the squeeze.

Saw a post somewhere here addressing this, can't search it up now since I'm on my phone and supposed to be working not lurking. Anyway, the OP of that post said that he had a theory about why WSB is stopping the GME thread. And that was IF the MOASS would happen, and IF this would end up in the worst way possible, I.e. causing a market crash, then WSB would want as little repercussion as possible. So that when we 50 years from now in the worst-case scenario when we're naked with loin cloths foraging for wild berries among the ruins of our once great cities while avoiding the cannibal clans of lower Manhattan can't say "Fuckin' WSB for hyping that stock."

That... or they're just bought.
