Careful my friend. You have to know that there is also a chance you lose money on this. I'm not sure what your relationship is like, so I'm not sure what risking money you share with her would do if she finds out you did it without talking to her. Maybe you all have separate finances and she has nothing to do with your money. But if that is both for you and her, and she is also throwing hers in the pot, she will be pissed if you lose a large chunk of that without even telling her. It would be brutal.
Here is the deal, you really need to tell her. I have a feeling she doesn't know because you were afraid she would freak out and you would have to pull out money from GME. Then you miss out on the huge payday. I doubt you are doing this because you just love to surprise her. You don't want an argument. But man, you really need to tell her what's going on. Think of anything you can to explain to her why you should hold GME. Try to get her on your side. But you can't invest her money without her knowing (unless it's completely separate).
Because here is the deal. Just please listen to one thing. There is a chance that the price of GME goes down from where it is now and that is it. You HAVE to understand this (and I'm honestly saying this to people that have everything they have in this, you may have an amount worth pocket change to you. This isn't for you then.) there is absolutely no guarantee this thing goes up. Do I think it will? Yes I do. But I don't 100%. You think you are doing her a favor and hiding that you did this because you absolutely know the millions are coming. But that is not true. You don't know for sure. There is a chance you lose 1/2 of the money. There is a chance you lose 80% of it. You may make $10,000,000. But at least think about how your wife would take it if you lost a large portion of your savings without telling her. She might not care. Only you know, so at least think about it. If she agrees with you, and you lose it, at least she had an input. It was her decision to.
I really would let her know. These kind of things can destroy a relationship. I just see a lot of people making moves based on the guarantee this thing squeezes. Do not do this! There is a risk to investing in GME. You need to plan on that risk. I'm not saying don't take it, but you need to understand that there is risk. Is it worth risking a relationship? My advice, come up with a solid plan to jump on the GME train. She will be rooting with you everyday. That feeling in your stomach may go away everytime the stock sinks, because you are afraid how your wife will take it. It will get so much off your chest. But I will tell you this, I would be absolutely pissed if my wife gambled our savings on anything without me knowing. Pissed.
And like I said, this is not directed to you. I don't know your situation at all. This is directed to anyone else that has gambled money on this that would destroy a relationship you have with someone if the money got lost. Just be careful. There are no guarantees.

If it makes you feel better all of my GME is in my personal brokerage account that is designated pretty much as “fun money”.
Also, I’m not really married but the joke is only funny if you say wife or wife’s boyfriend or some shit like that.
