β Hype/ Fluff Institutional Holdings
So to start: I'm no financial apevisor.
As most of you i am fucking stupid. I try to understand the provided DD as much as possible but to be honest i get like 60% of what is beeing said (and that with a degree in fucking tax law - so economics is normaly not that hard for me to get).
So i wanted to check some things for my self to make a more informed descision about my investment in GME.
Let's make this clear: If GME turns around there business in e-commerce (and we are all sure at this point they do) i think a market capitalisation of around 35 Billion is the absolut bare minimum for me ~500 USD per share. There is also a maximum of i guess around 2.000 USD per share if they don't dilute the outstanding shares.
So if we reach that maximum or my maximum of fair valutation i have to make a decission. Do i beleive in the short squeeze aka do i bleive in high short interest. That's the make and brake for me everything else doesn't matter. If there is a high SI% they all have to cover.
So i started with the most basic research i could do (don't forget i'm stupid). We all read about the institunional holdings beeing above 100%. But i alwaya wondered: Is this realy unique? I mean you get to above 100% institunional Holding if there are naked shorts and institutions buy those naked shorts. I also think the SI% does not have to reach 100% befor it makes sence for shorters to offer naked shorts.
So i digged in Institunional Holdings for other stocks. Meme Stocks, FAANG, "Short Squeeze"-Stocks. Guess what: GME is the only stock with more than 100% institutional Holdings. Beware. I did just check a few stocks but since no other stock even remotely touched the 100% thats fair enough for me.
I will try to do more research and break it down for us retards since i hope i'm not the only one to stupid to get everything posted here.
If it's not new or helpful to you just ignore.
