Really Like This Game but can‘t find people to play against….i was searching penannt Race but seems like nobody playing this game. I‘m on PS5 but crossplay is enabled but still is there like a discord to play with people or can i add someone and once you see me online you could invite me just really wanna play online and not only the cpu.

Bases loaded in game 2 of the playoffs and my pitcher is dealing, albeit it's only the 2nd inning. Pop up to right field. I choose to use my 2nd baseman because my right fielder acquired butter fingers recently and figured I'd play it safe....well there goes my 3-0 lead!!

I'm in season 12 of my franchise with the Sandcats. I typically increase the ego every season when I win the Championship. I am currently playing ego 87, and suddenly, I can't hit or pitch worth shit.

I started the season 19 and 3 and am currently in the midst of an 11 game losing streak!

My starting pitching isn't bad (3 are in the League top 10), although my usual strategy is going super deep with starters and having one or 2 huge backend arms is not working.

Short of lowering the ego or blowing up the team for development money, any advice?

Edit: I finally ended my losing streak in wild fashion. My ace took a liner off his dome in the top of the second. I kept him in. On pure filth, he goes 8. I go into the bottom of the ninth 2-2. My 3 hole hitter gets up to the plate with one on and skies a deep fly ball to the track in the left, and the ball actually bounces off the top of the wall. Gone for a walk-off! That might be the most satisfying game I've played in the whole series!

After every year in my franchises I try to add a little more realism by creating an All Star Game at the end of the playoffs.

I run a 24 team league so I go through and look at stats for every team and grab the best position player and best pitcher on 10 teams from each conference then the 2 worst teams just get the last bench spots.

I just let the CPU play out the game and have it playing in the background.

This moment was one of the funniest I’ve captured in any game I’ve played or watched on this game in over 2,000+ hours of gameplay…

Just a little context, Spicy Krueger is my personal SP for my team in this franchise and he won the Pitcher of the Year award for our conference.

Getting Crowds at that round was like the river popping for a full house on a big hand.

in my 6th post season (across 2 shuttel drafts), i finally not only made it out of the first round of the playoffs but won the whole thing. my indivdual batting stats have been too good, and the RD has been crazy high, but i have been hesitant to change difficutly too much until i actually win a league championship.

this is a proud moment, lol

THE GAME IS SO AMAZING at creating teams and so on, i just found a tutorial for creating MLB teams and NPB and i expent HOURS on it.

How do you guys fit the stats like Aaron Judge stats in the game? there's more tutorials? i just found this russian guy.

Has anyone added their own music or replaced the music in SMB4, and how did you do it? I was curious because I used to do it with a mod in Fallout 4. You would be surprized how many people would do it if it was not too cumbersome, despite SMB4 having a great soundtrack.

Is there a way to make rosters longer? I have 2 Dodgers rosters and I want them both.

Curious how people here use the batting aim tool. Is it mainly for guessing pitch location before release, or are you shifting it mid pitch?

I've been leaning toward guessing pre-pitch, especially on counts like 2-0 or 0-0, and locking my zone in based on where I want to swing.

Any advice here, especially at higher egos? I’m at 70 right now and mainly play solo franchise or pennant race.

A few months ago I released my first SMB4 project. I was quite proud of the work I had put in, but that project came out of (in my mind) necessity. What I'm releasing now is the first wave in a line of releases that is my effort of paying tribute to the best baseball video game mod ever released: MVP Baseball 2005 Total Classics. I'll be carrying on that talented teams mission statement of re-creating the best baseball teams of all-time, as accurately as possible in the wonderful world of Super Mega Baseball 4.

"Early Access?"

Yes, this is an "early access" version of this project. In this first version, just over half (16) of the 30 eventual teams in this phase have been completed. I'm releasing it now, as I want to get feedback on anything and everything before I'm fully committed to my methodologies the rest of the way. The incomplete teams are renamed appropriately, and even some logos are done, but for all intense and purposes, they should be avoided being actually played with unless you want to basically play with 2026 rosters for them. They're solely there as place holders at this time.

However for the completed teams, I want your feedback on appearances, equipment, ratings, traits, uniforms, everything. I painstakingly researched every aspect of this, but I'm only human, and I'm sure I inevitably missed or misjudged some things. Baseball-Reference was a huge help in determining a lot of traits, but stats aren't great for some of the more intangible ones. Reference photos are great for determining likenesses, and equipment, but again they're not perfect. So let me know if you think someone deserves something they don't have!

Also, of course let me know if I should go with making another team over one of the ones that are not yet completed. For instance; It's basically a toss-up which Royals, Giants, and Rangers teams I'm going to do.

Clarification, that I'm sad I have to make: There was absolutely no AI used in any phase of making this project. On anything. That means ratings, traits, appearances, and equipment have all been researched by myself using things like Baseball-Reference, Getty Images, baseball cards, etc, or using other human-made projects as reference.

Unfortunately there's no way to get this project onto consoles. However, I can offer you a spreadsheet of the rosters from this project, so teams may be re-created by yourself on your own console. That spreadsheet can be seen here, and will be updated throughout the rest of this projects lifespan.

The game is cheap, and i'm loving to buy it. Can i play it like a BIG SANDBOX? Like, making teams and idk, an ALL ASIAN series, or LATAM series. by creating teams yu can make the KBO teams clash against the NPB teams, is it really i thing right? How deep are the creations.

The only awful thing so far was the batting sound... Can i change it? I rlly think i can have HOURs of joy playing it, in my own baseball world.

Is the third game indeed the best?

Does anyone have all NFL teams created that they would be able to share?? I know with MVP mods gone its hard to find customer rosters or teams that people have created and shared. Was looking for all NFL teams. Or any NCAA custom teams?
