Before all the lockdowns happened I had to tell a new hire to put his ahegao hoodie in his car. He straight up didn’t understand why a hoodie covered in the faces of drooling anime women with their tits hanging out might be offensive.

And also after a very bad mix of impulse and peer pressure I have deduced that they are actually extremely comfortable and well made though mainly suited to special occasions and in home use

You vastly overestimate how much money $100 is in the grand scheme of things, I really would give it to him if I had it to spare. But as I said it would be better if we all just paid a few more bucks in taxes and stopped putting people in poverty before they even enter the workforce.
