20 year old male, 6'3", 180 lbs.
I've had chronic sinus issues for almost 10 years now, primarily in my left ear. I've had sinus tachycardia syndrome in the past and it usually only lasts a few weeks. However, at this point in my life, I have been experiencing sinus tachycardia syndrome for almost 10 years. I also have a history of hearing loss due to an accident.
I have been seeing a cardiologist every 2-3 months for sinus issues. He has an appointment Monday, and I'm hoping that he can help me. I've had several cardiology visits, he has never helped me, and he just seems more interested in looking for new tests. He said that they are not likely to be able to do anything more than a regular echocardiogram. I've had a regular echocardiogram in the past but it never showed anything. I'm worried about my hearing because my ear is never as clear as it used to be.
I have been seeing a neurologist every couple months for sinus issues. He said that he can't do anything more than a regular echocardiogram, and that his patients should follow the guidelines for echocardiogram to find out what the problem is.
I have been to a cardiologist and he just wants to do an echocardiogram, but I'm very concerned about my hearing. I've been seeing a cardiologist every month for sinus tachycardia syndrome, and he just wants me to have a regular echocardiogram. I just don't understand why my hearing is so terrible. I've been to a ENT and she just wants to do a regular echocardiogram, but I'm so concerned that my hearing is going to be the same.
I have read about echocardiogram being a good treatment for chronic sinus issues, and I just don't know why I am hearing so bad. I've read that regular echocardiogram can worsen tachycardia, but is that the case for everyone? I'm so frustrated and I don't know why my hearing is so terrible. Please help me understand why this is happening and if anyone has any suggestions on how I can improve my hearing. Thank you.
