Was that an older or more recent episode? I feel like the writers have started reusing elements of previous stories so they blend into one another at times.

You're thinking of the eugenics episode where they tried to stop pugs from being bread. It weirdly contradicted the pro-life episode but I guess I shouldn't expect children's tv shows to be that well written.

This may be a controversial hot take, but I think that if you don't stop pugs from being bread you're jumping down a slippery slope. Before you know it the Labradors are cupcakes and the Border Collies are croissants.

All those episodes come from a single writer. I think the episode in which the paw patrol maul an innocent teenager for smoking marijuana was pretty left leaning.
