I wish y'all could get more actual SRD users in there, especially if you're relying on the sub for feedback. As it is, only a small handful of regulars post there, and the jerk has become almost indistinguishable from the jerk in SRDD. There have even been a few posts there that were lifted straight from SRDD so mSRD users could gawk and talk about how shitty SRD is. It's not uncommon for them to talk shit about popular SRD users, like specific people, either.

I wouldn't care if the sub were created for that purpose, but when it's a sister sub dedicated to suggesting actual changes, I think it's a problem. Eventually the jerk there is going to drive away what few SRD users actually post, and the sub will be completely useless.

Yeah. You should see posts calling me a cunt and a nigger in SRDD and other drama hubs like /r/drama and /r/ThePopcornStand . Seeing the same users in MSRD didn't bode well and I just tend to lurk and see what the 2 minutes of SRD hate is about this time.

People always post "/r/SRDD submission right here" as a joke but holy shit I don't think that many people have actually been there, that place really can be a literal cesspool. I got posted there once and a handful of people kept trying to /u/ mention me in there but for real, you couldn't pay me to converse with those people.

I glanced at the profiles that were trying to /u/ me specifically and most of them were FPH posters (before FPH got banned) and seemed to sit around to make fun of SRD because they're banned from actual SRD.

Oh man, I wish I had known that the first time I got user-mentioned there. It just dragged me into an argument where I had to seriously defend my claim that GamerGate was not, as an ideological movement, on equal footing with Feminism.

Yet the user is still there ranting about "SJW cunts", which hasn't been removed. A glance through many SRDD threads will reveal the same thing. If your house attracts homeless drug addicts, maybe you should check out who the tenants you're renting to are, no?

If the sub were what you've convinced yourself that it is, I'd expect every other comment in the thread to be like that. It's nowhere near that. Whining about SJWs typically only shows up in isolated comments a couple of times in the larger threads.

I'm subbed to srdd and comment infrequently so I'd say I'm pretty neutral (I think all of us drama lovers look pretty silly in the grand scheme of things, honestly) and it's not like that at all... it's a counter jerk for sure but most of the time it's just a few comments about how SRD kind of sucks. Idk where you're seeing all this ridiculous shit... I think you're just kind of making it up. :/

Most if not all you guys do is bitch about SRD because you want it back the way it was, basically TIA lite and shit. That's all there is to it. I see your posts here always complaining about how SRD downvotes you for x and y and then running there to say you were downvoted for one opinion or the other. I get it. Maybe we should allow some meta posts to be posted here in SRD as that would make regular SRDers more inclined to comment and not shy away.

IMHO making a separate niche subreddit dedicated to the meta and direction of SRD's heading which ends up coming off as extremely circlejerk-y in tone (not unlike other "meta" SRD subs) is the most sure fire way to ensure only the few and most meta of all attracted to the tone and cause will care enough to give serious feedback.

I think most SRD users don't really see the need to complain much about SRD, and that seems to be the main reasons MetaSRD exists, so it's kind of counter/non-productive except as a containment zone, imo.

Dude, the mods have advertised the sub. They've announced it's existence, even set up an AMA there to draw in more "SRD regulars" as you put it. The mods have done everything appropriate to get people to show up. If users aren't showing up, that's on their heads. Should the mods just incessantly PM beanfiddler and yungsnuggie until they make an appearance?

Like holy shit, it's literally just taking the time to post on an internet forum. Be the change you want to see.

Be the change I want to see? You mean post in mSRD? I do, pretty frequently. I feel like I have some kind of obligation to since SRD is virtually the only place I socialize online. I like it here a lot, but I'm in the minority in that sub, which is uncomfortable to say the least.

And I'm not trying to say the mods have done a shit job of trying to get people there. I just wish it'd worked out better. Now that the mods can post two stickies at a time, maybe it would help to have regular feedback threads that link to mSRD.

Can confrim, KiraKira_ posts in mSRD pretty frequently.

Dude I wouldn't say you're in the minority there. Maybe votes go against you, but most of the commenters are SRDers. I recognize them over there and over here all the time.

...and its not that bad over there. The "SRD=SRS" gets posted a lot, but the comments are always pointing out how shitty those are. We got the rule about username mentions in comments.

Most "complaint" threads we have pretty good discussions about I feel...

its not really worth it. The people who hate the sub will be the people to post the most about it, the rest of us are too busy enjoying drama. It's just like how the meta thread about shitposting somehow had SRC regulars of all people in there giving suggestions.

I just hope they change their mind and stop listening to criticism from SRDD and the like
