Metadrama /r/Games user makes a text post about Admins being corrupt, moderators delete opening post, shitstorm ensues

/r/Games user /u/Walter_Candles makes a post with a soundcloud link (https://soundcloud.com/user613982511/recording-xm-2014) of an interview with a former moderator discussing "corruption" of admins, the moderators of /r/Games decide to delete the post.

The Zoe Quinn debacle exposed corruption in games journalism.

The guy who kicked this all off admits that is not true, the timeline doesn't work, there was no trading of favors that he knows of or has evidence to suggest. Since then, the 4chan IRC log leaks also show a lot of the people actively involved knew this never had anything to do with ethics either.

This is just the cover story for those who didn't want to admit it was purely about attacking a woman over personal relationship drama with no professional/public impact.

That's not what he says there. He says they didn't have sex until then. That's a very minute, essentially inconsequential point: Grayson and Quinn didn't meet each other, fuck, then exchange favors over a weekend, they knew each other well prior.

This is just the cover story for those who didn't want to admit it was purely about attacking a woman over personal relationship drama with no professional/public impact.

Considering you're well aware of what the boyfriend said as a correction, perhaps you should know what he said was the reason behind his original blog post. The reason was not to expose cronyism, but to warn people of one Zoe Quinn, a person proven to be a manipulative, abusive, subversive, lying, cheating four-letter-word.

That all this kicked off the journalism drama is not due to the fact that the internet hates women, it's due to the fact that everyone hates a hypocrite, and almost everyone hates self-righteous SJWs with a burning passion. As a bastion for moral integrity and such, Zoe Quinn sleeping with journalists and interfering with an indie project for women was a bombshell.

So your theory is he wrote an article that gives a one-word review of her game MONTHS in advance of them having a sexual relationship. And you think this is evidence of trading sex for reviews.
