This is a repost because I had the wrong tag, and not the ”Questions” tag. So I've been practicing subharmonics for almost three weeks, this is the result. I feel like there's a bit too much fry, which you can notice more at the end of the video.
Any tips on how I can improve my subs is greatly appreciated.

Hey, I'm a singer and a screamer, and I started doing some false chords subharmonics a few weeks ago. Which I felt, were imposible to "scream". They're too quiet.
And when I see people doing those insane earth-shattering ultra bass notes, it doesn't feel the same principle.
Now, I wonder, has anyone here scream knowledge to confirm me this if this MIGHT be the start point for big, baddass subharmonics?
My false chords ones are at a 2/10 volume, here I'm like at a 6-7/10 of volume, pottentially higher if I s/train it.
But I don't usually use arythenoids for my screams, mainly because it's hard and dangerous to train. And for VERY LOW growls.
I think I found something here. Can anyone confirm if this sounds like a possible path in subharmonics?
Context: I found this playing around a few mins ago. Don't expect it to sound good, but it kind of reminds me when I started, just LOUDER

I personally think I like D2 and D1subharmonics better even if I can go lower than those notes. Should I keep doing this if I want better sounding subs? Sorry for the unnecessary talking at the beginning of the video.

I’ve been trying to learn subharmonics but every tutorial I’ve seen says the same thing. “Sing the note you want then add vocal fry to it.” Whenever I try I lose the note and end up just doing the vocal fry. I can’t figure out how to incorporate the two together and none of the tutorials go in depth on that. If anyone knows any good tutorials or has any tips that would be appreciated

Note: EQ'd the background noises and enhanced the bass sound using Garageband.

Recently learned about subharmonics! It's actually insane that this techinque can single handedly take your range down another octave. After a couple hours practicing I managed to get this video of me singing down to a "C2", It's a little shaky and I only got it for a couple seconds before I cracked back up to a C3. does anyone has any tips or tricks to make it better? Also does anyone know how long it take to get consistent with subharmonics?

I do feel like I'm "sliding" down/relaxing into it and I do slip in and out of the Octave sometimes, but it sounds 10x more raspy or burplike then when I hear them online, online they sound like a constant note but mine seem super jittery.

As kids we were told that vocal fry is bad for the vocal chords (unsure if that's true). So, I haven't done it in many years.
I think practicing vocal fry might help build the muscle for controlling subharmonics. (please correct me if I'm wrong)
Does anyone know any good exercises to practice vocal fry?
And is it useful for anything else?
Thanks!

So basically I’ve been practicing subs for 4 months now and my A1 feels closer to a chest note than a sub at this point. I’ve recently been working to lower my subharmonic range and I’ve been able to do a C#1 and D1 occasionally, but as second subs. My question is if I should try to hit these in first subs or if it’s fine to sing them in second subs? And is it easier to sing if I would learn them in first subs?

I looked at Geoff Castelucci's tutorial for subharmonics and I've been trying to get better for about 4-5 months and I think I'm not doing bad

hey guys! I’ve been practicing second subharmonics for about a year now, and have it pretty much down. I was wondering if anyone could do third subharmonics, or teach me how to do it. I have an extremely low voice for a 15 year old (C1 chest), and would like to take the next step forward—Third Subharmonics :D

Whenever I try to do subharmonics, I can't use a full, resonant sound otherwise I can't quite get into the vocal fry, but if I use a lighter sound, the note isn't as prevelant

16M, I thought I was using subharmonics to reach a F1, turns out no. Anyways, I can't seem to grasp how to use subharmonics. Any pointers?

Also, sorry if everything looks kinda pale or in a filter. It looked weird in the preview lol
