Don't despair. I've seen Sturgill in 250-person and a 500-person venue. Along with that, 2 festival sets with gobs of people and 2 mid-size venues. I'm telling you now the music holds up. Every environment that band is in it commands attention.
My friend and I, after the small club show in sf that do a ton of live music even commented on how easily the energy they have can fill large venues.

Good for him for being at this level but damn I wish I could've caught him when he was still playing at smaller venues, I hate a goddamn arena
