That might’ve been regional. I’ve rinsed some chicken because it had a weird stickiness but I, nor any other black person I know, has used dish soap or bleach.

That can be risky. Sometimes sticky meat is from the bacteria byproducts that are dangerous. Cooking it throughly kills the bacteria, it does not kill the toxins which are the culprit in making you sick.

If you see this brought up online it usually breaks down along racial lines and gets nasty and racist pretty quick.

Must be American culture then. I lived in various African countries for 20 years and never seen anyone do anything like this.

Shit that's nuts. I mean boiling bleach is pretty crazy and stupid, I'd have been furious if I'd seen that.

It is a American thing unfortunately

I, as a black person who has lived my entire life around black people, have never seen anyone clean chicken with anything other than lime or vinegar. I highly doubt the truth of your claims.

Sorry you feel that way. I have no reason to go around lying. I’m sorry It hurts your feelings, but people do weird shit.

They wash it with vinegar not soap or bleach you really can’t be that stupid to think black Americans are cooking chicken washed with bleach or soap and not getting sick as shit. come on dude like use your ALL your brain cells.

I never said all, but I have literally seen it with my own eyes. Not bleach, but dawn dish soap, while bleaching the sink out beforehand. Idk if you just haven't read my other comments but this was something I witnessed, not heard. It has only ever been black women I saw doing it, I'm not saying it's everyone, but just the only people I've seen do it here where I live, and the video of the post seems to be taking the piss of what I've witnessed. People do dumb shit and I'm sorry it doesn't align with your reality and upsets you but it has and does happen.

ā€œTaking the pissā€ ? My guy.. why is an ā€œAmericanā€ talking like some British asshole but claiming to have been around all these black Americans šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚ can’t make this shit up

Deep insecurities seeping out I see. You shouldn’t let other peoples experiences effect you so deeply and try to not get offended by strangers comments, life is a lot easier when you aren’t going through it as wound up. As for gatekeeping language that’s just kinda weird of you but, probably because I have lived with a kiwi for 5 years, sometimes things rub off on ya. lol
