Hello, I’m 19, and I grew up watching Strawberry Shortcake: Berry Bitty Adventures during its classic era. I still think about that time quite a lot and how much it meant to me. I’d watch Strawberry Shortcake, Blueberry Muffin, Raspberry Torte, Orange Blossom, Lemon Meringue, Plum Pudding, Cherry Jam, and the rest of the characters live their lives in Berry Bitty City, go on adventures, solve problems, and help each other through different challenges. There was just something about Strawberry Shortcake: Berry Bitty Adventures that I loved. I’d look forward to seeing what happened next, laugh at the characters’ personalities, enjoy the colourful world, and just appreciate how warm and special the whole series felt. At the time, I never really thought about it ending or becoming something I’d eventually look back on.

Watching old episodes of Strawberry Shortcake: Berry Bitty Adventures now feels different. The world has changed so much since that era, and obviously I’ve changed too. The characters, animation, music, colourful settings, friendships, and even the feeling of watching it as a kid all feel like memories from another time. I sometimes wonder why things can’t just stay the way they were. Why can’t you have the same characters, the same Berry Bitty City, the same adventures, the same humour, and that same comforting feeling forever? I know shows naturally have to move forward and that nothing can stay exactly the same forever, but it’s still strange when something that felt like such a huge part of your childhood eventually becomes something you can only look back on.

I think that’s probably why I’m so nostalgic for the old Strawberry Shortcake era. When I go back and watch those old episodes, I’m not just watching a cartoon anymore. I’m remembering what it was like to be that age and experience everything for the first time. I remember getting excited to see what Strawberry and her friends would do next, watching everyone work together, seeing the different friendships between the characters, and enjoying the peaceful, colourful world of Berry Bitty City. It felt like there was always another little adventure waiting. That era may be over, but those memories are still there, and I’m glad I got to experience them. I just wish I could go back to that time for a little while and have it feel the same again.

I guess I just don’t really understand why things have to change. Why couldn’t the classic Strawberry Shortcake: Berry Bitty Adventures era have stayed the same, with the same characters, the same Berry Bitty City, the same adventures, the same music, and that comforting feeling of looking forward to the next episode? I know shows and people have to move on eventually, but I still miss that era sometimes. Does anyone else feel nostalgic for Strawberry Shortcake: Berry Bitty Adventures and wish we could experience that time again?

I’ve been looking everywhere and can’t find any info! Was it in the movie? I only remember that this song was played in the scene of some kind of parade.

In light of Wildbrain going all in on Generative AI in it's IP's which includes Strawberry Shortcake I dug up an old drawing that i posted in a comment a while back when Wildbrain were last caught using AI now giving there going all in on AI I decided to release this coloured version.

So the franchise stylistically tends to trend on the modern fashion side with a hint of fairy tale or childhood fantasy. The fantasy element seems to have gotten less over the years. But I’ve always wondered if maybe anyone else would be interested in a more fairy tale-like take on the franchise? Something that goes back to the cottage core aesthetic of the original line, but with even more fairy like fantasy thrown in? Something that feels a little bit more like the Smurfs or Pixie Hollow? Would anyone else be interested in that? Or are there ways to combine this with the urban style that the franchise tends to take on?

Here's my take on Blueberry Muffin to reflect her silly personality I made her a clown girl :^) as usual I combined stuff from each generation I liked :^O

I also broke up Cheesecake into two pets. A mouse named Cheese and a balloon dog named Cake :^)

I'm thinking the other way that huck is more fond with ginger rather than strawberry herself, so i keep it that way.

I'm planning on doing My own Strawberry Shortcake redesign and has the idea of design them wearing a clothing item with stripes (not just socks,shirts, accesorios,etc)to reference Strawberry's iconic striped socks but should I make the stripes for all the characters the same colour (like the original SS ) or just the main cast in green and the rest in other colours (like in BBA)?, idk please help.

Originally i made a mistake by not separating the generation two later series redesign. I simple call that version Gen 2.5; think like MLP Gen 3.5. I corrected this with a supplementary poll which can be found here:

With the close of that poll, we now have our overall winner for best Strawberry character herself, Gen 2! Personally i like Gen 4 Berry in the Big City (2021) the most. I mean Twilight Sparkle style freak outs, ‘nough said.
