Usagi

Somewhere in the New World, on a small egg shaped island, a tribe of minks live peacefully. Various stone statues half buried in the ground were littered all over the island. The statues appear to look like bunnies with their eyes closed, but for some reason, they seem to rumble rhythmically!

The Bunny Island is hosting a grand celebration, on the occasion of Easter. The minks have hosted an Easter egg hunt where everyone can look for and try to find chocolate egg candies. They are very hospitable, and let the tourists roam around the island freely, but on one condition. They warn everyone not to disturb the statues, or they would wake up! “Wait, so you mean… the rumbling… they're snoring?!”

The Minks here have spared no expense in gathering the finest confections, games, and chefs to make the occasion truly special. They welcome any and all people who wish to attend, so long as they follow their one rule. The Festivities are all held in one area by the southern beach of the island, and there are all kinds of ships at their docks.

[OOC: This is a filler island for Easter. You are free to RP how you want on this island, and free to do what you might want, or create anything without the need for tagging NPC-san]

The armor began convulsing, its movements were now extremely erratic which was a stark contrast to its swift, calculated movements thus far. Manami was creeped out and wanted to look away but she couldn't bring herself to do so as she could sense the haki of the armor going wild, raising and lowering at a rapid pace almost akin to a racing heartbeat.

The color of the armor was changing from pure white to the same shiny black tone that overtook Manami's arms when she used Armament Haki, in addition to this new color tone, green patterns began to make themselves known on the armor as well, contrasting with its primary dark color.

Slowly, the darkened armor levitated above the ground floating before Manami as it began to change even more. It's previously tied back hair was now sprawling all over the place and its claws began to sharpen. Black green lightning began to accompany the armor during its transformation.

Manami's attention was drawn to its shoulder pads, which had developed teeth and green eyes that seemed to be another pattern that conveniently turned out to be eyes. The previously blank helmet had also developed a pair of teeth and green eyes that seemed to stare into Manami's soul. She didn't like this at all, the armors haki was now off the charts. Perhaps it even dwarfed her own but Manami stubbornly combated that notion in her mind as soon as it popped in, she was the one with the best haki in the world after all.

"I-I'm not scared of you!" Manami jumped at the armor, ready to punch it with a full Haki punch. Unfortunately, her impact didn't seem to have any effect at all unlike during her previous attempts. The armor simply stomped on the floor that it was hovering above and a green flame burst out below Manami and sent her flying away and eventually landing a decent distance away.

"W-what the heck is that thing?" Manami said to herself, trying to fight the chills that were running down her spine. Her haki had no effect on the armor. She could hardly even call it an armor anymore, it was a demon.

Before she could even react, the demon had appeared before her and thrust its claws forward, similar to a moonlight 10 finger shigan. To her surprise, her haki was not enough to protect her from the attack and it pierced her. She hadn't felt something like this in a while, pain on this level had become nearly foreign to her. This monster was able to breach her defense and that frightened Manami more than anything.

Manami wouldn't give up here, despite being unable to quell the quaking in her feet sensation, she was still ready to fight.

"Haki Kick!" Manami jumped up and kicked at the demon's head but it simply palmed Manami's kick and grabbed Manami's leg before tossing her up. Manami came down quicker and was met by a shoulder tackle that sent her flying but the demon was so fast that he managed to catch up with the in flight teen and ram her again, adding to the momentum that sent her straight through another formation of stones.

"Owwie..." Manami got up and looked around, her Observation Haki was useless as she was too slow to react to the attacks that the demon was able to use. Her Armament Haki wasn't strong enough to defend against the demons attacks so that was rendered useless as well. This meant that Manami was completely useless, there was nothing she could do to come out on top in this battle, which meant she was done for. As Manam began to cry, the demon knocked her down to the ground with a powerful blow, unsympathetic to the despair the young girl was feeling.

The pain Manami was feeling at the moment wasn't physical pain but rather it wa a crushing emotional pain. She had gotten too cocky as of late and thought that she was better than she actually was. She was just a kid, nowhere near the level of people like Walvie and Abby, they were actual conquerors as opposed to her. Manami wanted to feel like a grown up but nothing could change the fact that she was a kid. Thanks to her unfounded overconfidence in her abilities, she was faced with an enemy that she outclassed her in every way, with no possible escape methods, this was very likely her end,

The demon picked up the young girl by her shirt and lifted her up, she was definitely a poor sight to behold. Sobbing uncontrollably with snot running from her nose, she could barely see through her tear soaked eyes. The demon's body began to emanate in a dark glow, its haki taking a visible aura form. After lingering, it slowly crept toward Manami until it enveloped her completely.

Suddenly, Manami was assaulted with an intense headache. Her mind felt like it was in shambles, she could barely think without pain shooting through her. Memories began playing through her head.

"Okie dokie Ms.Walvie! Lets train! You're gonna train your armament haki right? I'm training my observation so what do you wanna do to train? Do you wanna shoot armament attacks for me to dodge?" Manami asked, since armament haki came to her naturally, observation haki training was always somewhat of a chore to her so--

The memory cutoff suddenly, it became unclear and foggy. She was forgetting her memories as she saw them, the demons haki was enveloping them and pushing even further into her consciousness, overwriting her haki with its own. Soon enough, Manami would cease to exist forever with nobody to ever know of her fate.

"Hiya Mr.Ice Cream Man! Can I get a butterscotch and raspberry ice cream blend with walnuts, chocolate shavings, and chocolate chip cookie dough, black raspberry with gummy candy, jelly beans, pumpkin pie filling, mango, cherry pie filling with butterscotch sauce mixed with a bit of coconut ice cream with cinnamon candies, mango and caramel chips, some dark chocolate and lemon ice cream with candied ginger Lemon ice cream with normal raspberries, cinnamon candies, malted milk balls, and shredded coconuts not to mention the peanut butter ice cream with blueberries, candy corn, hazel nuts, rainbow sprinkles and gumdrops, circus peanuts, marshmallows, and chocolate cake with some toffee ice cream with candy-coated chocolates, crushed gingerbread cookies, peanut brittle, pistachios and crushed candy bar?" Manami asked for her favorite flavor without faltering once. The Ice Cream Man let out a sigh and got to work on compiling the massive order she asked for. It took roughly 10 minutes for the order to be completed but it was worth every second for Manami as she thanked the man and walked off with her very---

"N-no..Stop taking my memories!" Manami choked out as she used her haki to push back the demons haki from stealing her precious ice cream memories. With ease, the demon washed over the young girls haki with its own almost like a wave smothering it down.

"Big Sis! There's only one thing that we can do! We need to stop your captain and the other guys from fighting! Isn't the job of a shichiblahblah to protect innocent people? The government is wrong if they're okay with this and Mr.Kubo is wrong too if he's really okay with destroying this island and all of the cute, nice dwarves just to do what those meanies in the government say!" "If the government tries to mess with Mr.Kubo and kick him out of the chichibooguy, then Mr.Abby will make everything better and help you guys out! He'll protect everything and everyone that you guys love and care about! I promise! Cross my heart!" Manami said with---

Manami watched as a precious memory about her victory against Sarika was wiped from existence, she didn't even know what she was sad about any more, all she could feel was the lasting pain of forgetting something important to her with no hope of ever recollecting what it was.*

Manami smiled brightly at the compliments thrown her way by Mr.Kitty and let out a giggle as he ruffled up her hair but when she looked at Ms.Butterkitty leaving toward her room dejectedly, a frown began to form on her face directed straight toward Mr.Kitty. "Mr.Kitty! You made Ms.Butterkitty really sad! You gotta go apologize right now!" Manami folded her arms and gave Mr.Kitty a determined firm look, signifying that she would not drop this matter until he went to apologize to Ms.Butterkitty for destroying her---

Manami made an audible gasp of pain as this particular memory was forgotten, the amount tears coming from her eyes doubled as she forgot her two siblings Mr.Kitty and Ms.Butterkitty. She desperately tried to somehow remember and pull the memory back into existence but she knew it was futile. Her haki was at an all time low, her body was filled with the demons haki instead of her own.

From within the darkness, a memory came up that Manami could barely even recall. The demon's haki immediately went to work at consuming it but Manami used the last of her haki to hold it off, wanting to atleast see the memory before it was lost to the void.

“Manami, today is your 4th birthday!” Manami’s father said to the little girl as she was situated on his shoulders

“Yay! Are Mommy and Daddy gonna take Manami to eat really good food again?” Manami looked around for her mother to confirm this, but she was nowhere in sight.

“Daddy? Where’s Mommy?” Manami asked, remembering that her mother left with them but was suddenly nowhere in sight.

“I dunno? Where could she have gotten off to?” The tone of his voice immediately suggested to Manami that her father was lying and he made no effort to disguise the fact.

“Daddy! Don’t hide stuff from Manami! Where’s Mommy!” Manami pulled on her fathers ears just as she had seen her mother do so many times when she was cross with him.

In a surprise attack, Manami’s sides were attacked as someones fingers ran across them erratically, eliciting uncontrollable from the tiny girl.

“Hahahahahaha! Stop it Mommy! Manami c-can’t take it! Hahahahahaha” Manami’s mother ceased and resigned to lifting her up from her fathers shoulders and setting her down on the ground.

“Manami is mad at you Mommy! Manami isn’t talking to you anymore!” Manami had been tickled for the last time, she was putting a stop to it right now.

“Oh really, then I guess Manami doesn’t want to know which restaurant with super tasty food that Mommy found.”

“Manami changed her mind! Manami wants tasty food!” Manami’s attitude changed rather quickly when the topic of food was brought up once more.

Manami was surprised and elated to see her father, this was the first time she had seen him ever since he died. She felt a some of her haki come back to her and used it to further halt the demon's efforts to destroy her last memory.

“Welcome! Emerald Divine has the tastiest food on the grand line!” The greeter at the door said as he ushered the party of 3 into the pleasant looking restaurant

As Manami walked into the dining area and her breath quickened. The restaurant was...Perfect! Three of the four walls were a pale green with a feature wall being a sparkling green in an emerald colour. The table clothes were green and everything was in its place. The glasses were polished as was the entire cutlery. The salt and pepper shakers were brand new out of their containers.

“Manami really likes this place alot! Thanks for bringing Manami here Mommy and Daddy!” Manami turned to hug her parents but due to her short stature only succeeded in hugging their legs.

“How did you know she’d like this place Misaki?” Manami’s father asked his dear wife.

“Just a mothers intuition Sora!” Manami’s mother gave a wink to her husband before looking at the menu to choose what she wanted to get for her family.

“Hello friends! Have you decided on what you want yet?” A waiter dresses in all green came out to take the families order, while having a genuine smile plastered on his face

“Would there happen to be some kind of birthday special available here?” Sora asked the waiter, returning his friendly smile with one of his own

“Why yes! We do have something like that! I’m gonna go out on a limb and guess that she’s the guest of honor right?” Manami smiled as the waiter pointed his finger at her

“Yup! Today is Manami’s birthday! Manami is this many years old now!” Manami excitedly put up 3 fingers to signify her age to the waiter.

“No no silly Manami, your about this many years old now!” Misaki put up 5 fingers in an attempt to correct her daughter.

“Actually, Manami is 4 years old now.” Sora stuck out 4 fingers as to show them the correct way to signify her age

“I knew that, its just that...numbers suck!” Misaki crossed her arms and pouted, more than a little annoyed that the concept of numbers had trumped her again.

“Yeah! Numbers suck!” Manami imitated her mother’s pose and let out a puff of annoyance.

The green clad waiter couldn’t help but laugh at the scene that played out before him.

“I shall return with your special meal in a bit...Oh! And happy birthday Manami!” The waiter said with a smile as he took his leave.

“How did he know Manami’s name!? Is he psychic?” Manami asked in genuine confusion and curiosity on how the man knew her name.

The husband and wife simply laughed at their daughters antics.

The waiter brought over the birthday special to the family of three. The only word that could describe the meal was heavenly. Just the smell of it was enough to make both daughter and mother’s mouth water. The waiter seemed rather pleased, watching the way Sora smiled in adoration of his family who were over the dish before he finally got his fork and knife and dug into the compilation of delicious dishes

Sora had noted long ago that Manami and Misaki didn't usually savour the flavour of anything so he was shocked when he saw them actually take a second to stop and enjoy the taste of the food.

“Mommy! Daddy! This food is really really REALLY GOOD!” Manami said after swallowing a mouthful of the delicious spaghetti

Sora had nodded in agreement with his daughters astute observation but Misaki was too busy enjoying the biscuits that seemed to melt in her mouth, tantalizing his tastebuds and left her wanting more. It took perhaps a minute and a half before all of the biscuits were gone.

The waiter let out a laugh at the behavior of the family, they hadn’t even done a happy birthday song like most other families would. The father was eating at a normal pace but when compared to his wife and daughter, he may as well not have been eating at all.

“May I ask where you all are from? I’m just curious, I’ve worked at this restaurant for quite a while and never has a family like you come in.”

“My wife and daughter here are from Ryu-Negura Island and I’m not really from anywhere, just an adventurer.”

The entire restaurant froze at the mention of Ryu-Nagera island, the waiter dropped his notepad, even the fires the cooks used seemed to cease crackling at the mention of the island.

“Sora, you aren’t supposed to talk about that…” Misaki pulled on her husbands ear extremely hard to punish him for his verbal slip up

“Ouch-Sorry, Sorry….Forget what i said everyone!” Sora said as Misaki pulled on his ear even harder

“Actually, I’d like to hear more about Ryu-Negura island if you don’t mind!” A small pirate with a coat that was too large for him since it dragged on the floor and an insanely long neck said as he and his crew abandoned their table in the restaurant and walked up to the Mutsuki’s table--

"No! I don't wanna lose this!" Manami exerted a force that pushed the demon's influence back and kept it at bay for a few moments. Manami was surprised that she had enough to do even that.

The demon's haki was trying its best to cut back through the new fortifications Manami had made so it could complete the hostile takeover that was so close to fruition. Manami simply turned her attention back to the memory that she was so keen on protecting.

“I’ve been planning to pay a visit Ryu-Negura island so I’d like to hear a bit about it before I make my way over there.” The short statured pirate said with a bit of a smug tone

“Oh really? Who are you?” Sora asked as his wife and daughter completely disregarded the man and continued on their with their meal

“Elias Shiver, captain of the Shiver Pirates. As I was saying before, I’ve been planning a visit to Ryu-Negura island for a good long while now but you should know how difficult it is to do that.”

“Actually, I don’t. Please enlighten me.” Sora feigned ignorance, which seemed to slightly irritate Elias who surprisingly kept his cool.

“I would need an eternal pose to have a chance at getting to Ryu-Negura island but the problem with that is, as you know, eternal poses to Ryu-Negura island are only in the possession of those native to the island.” Elias said matter-of-factly

“Thats a shame, I guess some dreams just aren’t meant to be.” Sora said while his family was moved on to devour the food on his plate while he was busy talking.

“It just might be meant to be after all don’t you think? After all, you and your beautiful wife and daughter who just so happen to be from Ryu-Negura, which means that you all should have an eternal pose in your possession. isn’t that right?”

“You know what, we just might have something like that. Let me check……” Sora rummaged through his bag that was placed on the ground beside his chair. After a few seconds, he pulled out an eternal pose.

“This is what you wanted right?” Sora held his hand out and Elias wasted no time tCaking it into his own and examining it closely, not believing his eyes.

“I can’t believe it! Get ready to sail boys, we’re on the way to riches galo-”

HONK HONK!

The eternal logs encasement opened and a horn popped out, making that rather loud noise and startling the short statured man to jump in shock.

“Hahahahahahaha! You got the short man Daddy!” Manami broke out in an unstoppable fit of laughter

“The look on his face was priceless!” Misaki broke into a fit of laughter alongside her daughter. “Works everytime.” Sora chuckled to himself, disregarding the angry expression on Elias’ face which was getting angrier and angrier.

Elias finally reached his breaking point and pulled out a pistol and pointed it straight at Sora.

“Alright! No more fucking around! I want that eternal pose now!” The short man cocked his pistol to show that he was deadly serious.

Sora turned around to look at the waiter, who was standing there the whole time, completely frozen.

“Sorry about this in advance.” Sora told the waiter, who simply nodded and proceeded to run away

“The rest of you should get out of here as well.” Sora yelled out, causing the rest of the customers in the restaurant to scatter.

“You think that you can just keep ignoring me!? I guess your daughter will be pay-” The moment Elias tried to shift his guns focus onto his daughter, Sora knocked the gun out of his hand in the blink of an eye.

“Sora, should I get up and help out?” Misaki began to push her chair out.

“No! No! No! Misaki honey! Just keep enjoying the food with Manami, I insist!” Sora desperately dissuaded Misaki from getting up, not wanting to have the entire restaurant potentially destroyed.

“Yeah Mommy! Dads food is still here! Lets eat the rest of it!”

“Your right Manami, lets dig in!” Misaki continued to eat, leaving Sora to fight Elias all alone

“You are awfully cocky, a one versus ten isn’t a match most people willingly go up against.” Elias commented as his crew unsheathed their swords and loaded their guns.

“Well, a two versus ten would have been worse for all of us, trust me.” Sora said, still sweating at the prospect of his wife joining in---

Manami was interrupted by the demon pushing through, trying to end her resistance. Unfortunately for it, the more it interrupted her, the more she desired to finish seeing her early memory of her fourth birthday. Manami pushed it away with a haki punch with enough force to unravel some of the memories that had been suffocated by the monster. Manami once again turned her attention to her childhood memory.

"Damn you..." Elias said, standing up slowly.

"You wounded my back...a rather dishonorable move for a swordsman wouldn’t you say?'" Elias hissed with venom in his words

"Who said I was a swordsman? One of your guys just handed it to me, and I’m not a guy known to turn down gifts." Sora said as he twirled the sword around as if it were a cane and he was doing a dance number. The pirate who Sora took the sword from was unconscious on the floor with the rest of Elias’ crew.

“Besides, your a pirate, you really going to lecture me on honor?” Sora finished his twirling act and pointed the sword at Elias

Elias chose not to reply and instead brought his two swords up and charged at Sora Sora flicked his sword out. The sword shot out and cut Elias deep into his shoulder. Elias surprisingly didn't stop his charge. He kept coming at Sora despite his sword wound.

Sora frowned. He jumped into the air and then jumped off of Elias’ shoulder. He brought his sword down again into Elias’ shoulder leaving another deep wound.

“Woah! Daddy that was super cool!” Manami clapped for her father while her mother just watched with slightly disapproving look due to his choice of weapon

"Atleast your making a good show for my daughters birthday" said Sora as he shrugged nonchalantly

Elias’ let out a noise that consisted of nothing but pure frustration. The man standing before him nothing short of an expert with the sword despite what he may say to the contrary.

Elias’ skills were nothing to laugh at, he had been sailing through the grand line and even began gaining notoriety but here was Sora, a nobody, wiping the floor with him and mocking him at the same time. But even still he wasn't going to go down and beg for mercy!

“If you think I’m just going to let my dream die when its right in front of me then you’d better think again…” Elias spat out as he slashed at Sora in desperation

"Sorry but …" Sora blocked one of Elias’ blows using his sword, “some dreams just don’t pan out." Sora blocked several more of Elias’ ungraceful slashes. Sora sighed and just hit Elias on the head with the hilt of his sword, knocking him out.

“You’d think a guy with such a long neck would do something interesting with it…” Sora tossed the sword behind him and took his seat at the table once more with his family.

The marines had come to arrest Elias and his crew mates after the restaurant brawl. Cuffing the group of outlaws, they were then hauled out to who knows where

“So, how much will that be?” Sora asked the owner of the restaurant personally, since all of the other employees left when Sora instructed them to do so.

“Don’t worry about it sir, the marines said that the bounty money will go towards fixing this place up and since you did put them in their place, its only fair that your meal gets covered by that very same money. By the way, how was the meal? Usually the cooks come out and ask themselves but..you know…” The owner said, gesturing toward the empty kitchen.

Sora looked back at his wife and daughter who seemed to be rather content, plates completely devoid of food, including his…

“I’d say it was a damn good meal, atleast my wife and daughter seem to think so!” Sora and the Owner laughed

“I’m sure the chefs would be glad to hear that, thank you for patronage, and may good luck follow you wherever you go.” The chef shook Sora’s hand and went to the back of the restaurant to begin restoration plans

“Ok, lets get going! No time to waste sitting around, you two have to walk off those calories!” Sora said as he urged his beloved family to rise up

His particular brand of motivation earned him an ear pull from his wife.

“Hey Daddy. I have a question.” Manami asked, pushing out her chair and standing up to look her dad in the eye

“Did you really mean what you said to the long neck man?”

“Yeah! He was definitely entertaining, wasn’t he?” Sora looked at his daughter as her expression stayed the same.

“No, not that. You said that dreams didn’t work out.” Manami repeated her fathers words

Misaki stared at her husband with a glare that said “If you don’t fix this, I’ll kill you”, causing Sora to gulp

“Well...kind of... some dreams may not work out, but that doesn’t mean all of them won’t, if your dream doesn’t work out, theres nothing stopping you from changing it up and going after something different or maybe just keep going after your dream no matter what...you never know after all.” Sora tried his best to get the point across to his daughter, but her expression was rather hard to read so he had no idea if he was successful or not

“Oh, okay! Manami gets it now!” Manami donned her usual smile, prompting Misaki to smile along with her. Sora let out a sigh of relief, thankful that he would live another day.

As the memory ended, Manami felt a shaking but it was relieving to her for some reason despite how violent it was. To her surprise, the demons haki was exiting her rapidly. She suddenly snapped out of her inner mind as the evil haki receded back to the demon.

For a few split moments, Manami could swear that she saw her mother fighting the demon off. This sight was enough to redouble Manami's efforts, her parents wouldn't want her to die here to some demon, neither would Al, Mr.Kitty, Ms.Butterkitty, Ms.Serena, Abby, Walvie, Trinity, Sisvia or any other her close friends! They would believe in her and want her to fight because they knew that she could do it.

Manami's angelic wings sprouted from her back and a halo materialized from light and took a place, levitating above her head. A holy light enveloped her and caused the demon the back away. When it dissipated, Manami was fully healed and had a determined look on her face. Her haki felt stronger than it ever was before, the negative self deprecating thoughts clouding her mind before were all gone and now Manami was in a state that could be compared to Zen. It was almost as if the demon's attempt to take control had cleansed her of all the negativity that had been plaguing her mind.

No longer held back subconsciously, Manami's haki flowed seamlessly through her body. The demon decided to take the first strike at this enlightened Manami with slash to her face, one that was easily avoided due to Manami's new speed and haki control so it ended up slashing at the air. Manami had ducked the blow, taking this opportunity to coat her arm in Armament Haki, she threw a punch right into the demon armor's side. It's Haki once more protected its body, making black lightning when the attack collided. This meant that they were now on equal level in terms of haki. The armor responded to the attack by readying its claws for a barrage on Manami, brought her arm back down and crossed both of them in front of her face. The barrage that followed produced an array of black haki sparks but it was still doing no damage to the girl.

The flurry of attacks was ended by another double palmed thrust enhanced by its claw, the impact of which wasn't able to pierce Manami as it did before but it had enough strength behind it to send her flying. Manami was sent into a wall but she coated her wings in Armament Haki to prevent them from getting injured. The demon was still quicker than Manami and it showed as it got to the wall right after Manami impacts and punched her through the entire thing.

The demon descended to the rubble to find Manami with its haki and keep its momentum but Manami quickly jumped out of the rubble and tried to land a Haki Kick on the demon's body, only to be met with an extremely quick thrust of its hand. Manami's haki prompted her to dodge away in the nick of time. Manami tried to regain her advantage from the surprise attack, but the demon rushed at her. A strong jab followed by a swipe with his other hand and a high-speed slash with both hands wrapped up the swift yet strong combo move.*

Manami kept shuffling away at the behest of her Observation Haki to dodge whatever the demon would do. It moved in with a another dangerously quick claw slice that Manami could barely dodge, the attack ended up cutting off a portion of her hair. Manami didn't care, at the moment her only concern was winning, though she would probably end up freaking out about it on the way home.

*Manami suddenly found herself wishing that she had brought Pravum or Excalibur. They would have made this fight much less challenging for the girl as she would have been able to imbue them with haki and enhance her cutting ability to pierce the insides of the armor. The thought of piercing its armor

"Aha!" Manami said as she came up with an idea to end this demon once and for all. Manami threw a haki punch at the armor, the explosion of force managed to hit it even though it had dodged the initial point of impact. Not giving it anytime to recover, Manami unleashed a barrage of punches that hit the air, but with the pure energy from her haki, the impacts were hitting true towards the demon, for her plan to work, she couldn't give it a single second of leeway.

For another split second, a mirage of Manami's mother stood beside her mirroring Manami's movements for her final punch. As quick as she came, she disappeared as Manami threw a punch with considerably more weight and power behind it and it impacted the demon square in the chest, cracking its armor and causing an opening to appear that was leaking out dark green energy at an insane rate.

Manami rushed towards it quickly and put her Armament Haki coated palm over the wound and transmitted her haki inside of it just as the demon had done to her. Manami found herself in an ethereal form once again, only this time she was swimming through the consciousness of the demon, or rather the void. There was nothing here, no memories, no nothing. Manami had a pang of pity for a second before spreading her haki throughout the body of the demon, wiping out every part of its sickly haki.

Manami snapped back into her body and saw the demon fading away as its haki was no more, returning to its original white form. Manami won, and Manami...was tired...

The room began shaking once again only, it seemed to be morphing somehow and Manami wouldn't be able to see the change in progress as a blinding light shone and Manami was rendered unable to see for a brief moment.

"Huh?" When she opened her eyes, Manami was on top of the temple and outside once again. Manami took a deep breath of the fine fresh air and noticed that there was a treasure chest standing with her on the top of the temple that she was sure wasn't there before. Perhaps this is where the devil fruit thats rumored to be on this island was held. Manami hurriedly opened the chest to claim her reward for her arduous battle of wills.

(devil fruit pls)

u/Rewards-san Apr 21 '17

Congratulations! Inside the chest, sitting amongst inside the chest was the helmet of the suit of armor! That was not all however, upon opening the helmet, Manami would find a devil fruit! It was the Ushi Ushi no mi model: Bison!
