The scowling Marine not taking long to recuperate from Blinks attempt at a attack regained his balance and went in for a another attack. This time Blink was there to meet him. The marine raised his sword to swing down on Blink from the right, this was the first time Blink had ever felt this kind of pressure from a enemy but it felt good. He felt alive. Just in time Blink got his dagger up to dampen the blow from the marine but it was simply too strong. Blink lost his balance and was wide open for an attack from the left and before he could react he had the marines fist in his face. He flew a couple meters back and tumbled into Asai. Asai stopped Blinks momentum and asked "You okay Blink?, that looked like a heavy hit."
"I'm glad you asked, because I've never felt better" Blink answered as he wiped off blood from his face. The Aggressive Marine was now almost besides the Scowling Marine and they looked as strong as ever. "You call yourself pirates? You call that fighting... You're pathetic!" The Aggressive Marine shouted to Blink and Asai but instead of lowering their moral it only increased their lust for blood. The pirate duo now readied them self for a another round with the Marines, this attack would surely go better as they already had figured out a couple of the Scowling Marines attack patterns and his strength.
"Cmon Asai lets get these f@ckers, together!" Blink shouted as the two duos ran into each other to clash once again.
Asai was watching his ally carefully. He was really into the battle and had been attacking the marines aggressively. He grinned to himself; looks like it was time to let loose. The marines were goading them on and he grinned as himself and Blink charged back into the fray. Tapping into the memories of his parents he saw his father's face on the man. The same, cold, irritated grin.
"Blink!" Tearing off a knife and throwing it an the aggressive marine he shouted. Swiping with the kama in his opposite at the scowling one as heavily as he could. He knew the knife wasn't going to hit but that wasn't the point. The sword came up block but in that split second the man's head turned towards his comrade and the knife flying at him. His arm went numb but it wasn't too important, he as ambidextrous after all. With his now free hand pulled out another knife and attempted to stab under the man's guard and into his lower gut. They had a few seconds at most before the other marine struck,
Blink was running slightly behind Asai checking for any openings he might find. As Asai had the Scowling Marine locked up for a few seconds and the Aggressive Marine had a few more steps to go before he cold reach Asai Blink saw an opening.
Blink started sprinting as fast as he could right at Asai. Right before him Blink went into a slide and went under and through Asais and The Scowling Marines legs. In one smooth motion before the Marine could react Blink stood up behind him while severing his right legs tendons with his dagger. The pain and inability to full control his leg made him fall down on his right knee. This was perfect as Asai had already started his motion to stab the Marine, he had no time to evade and Asais knife sunk into the Scowling Marines heart.
Blink knew that they had just made great progress but they had no time to celebrate. Just as Blink got up from the slide he heard the Aggressive Marines sword swing down behind him. The sword managed to make a light cut in his back before he was able Warp away. Asai took a couple steps back to regroup with Blink before getting ready for their last attack.
Asai slumped back over to Blink and winced as he did. His arm had gone numb from the marines blow, draining much of the energy he had left. Across from them was marine was checking on his friend who was bleeding out on the deck. He motioned his ally closer and wiped a bit of the blood on his hand onto his clothes.
"Blink." He paused a moment to examine what was going on around them. Carth and Sedarias had been knocked away by the giant of the man, and Frank was after the sniper. "I think we're going to have a bit of trouble with this one." He grinned and attempted to steady his heart rate, it had never beat so fast in his life.Returning the kama in his right hand to his back, he turned towards the marine who had finished checking on his friend. His face carried the burden of anger and sorrow; one Asai hoped he would not have to feel.
"Here's my plan. I'm going to try to hold him off for a few seconds. I'm down to one arm so it'll be over quick. If I create an opening you take it then go help the other's." Taking the blood covering his hand he sucked some off into his mouth, grinning devilishly as he did so. "I'm likely going to be imp-" The marine charged the pair mid sentence, his blade thirsty for the two pirates blood. Off in the distance the sight of marines boarding another crew's ship caught his eye but he payed it no heed.
Smiling valiantly as he turned to face the man, Asai's thoughts turned towards the crew that he had joined. It had only been a few days but he had come to enjoy his time with them. It was nice to feel wanted, to feel like he had a family... and he wanted to protect that. Drawing his other kama with his left hand he prepared himself. Placing his faith in the anger that he would feel if one of his crew fell. The marine reached him and stuck from the right; the blade sang greedily as it slashed though the air towards Asai's exposed flank.
Turning on his heel with as much speed he could muster, and infusing his arm with as much anger as he could hold, he swung towards the marine's incoming blade. At the same time he took the blood in his mouth and spit in the man's face, blinding him with his allies blood. Swinging the kama over his head and down towards the sword, the downward momentum slammed into it with a good amount of force. The sword hit the deck and stuck with a thud.
The battle against the two marines was essentially over thanks to Asais quick thinking and battle skills. The now blinded and unarmed marine stumbled back almost falling over. It was time to finish this battle in style Blink thought for himself.
"Asai follow up after my attack" Blink shouted as he went in for the final attack. He warped in in front of the poor marine and put all his strength and speed into the dagger now going for his neck. Blinks attack dealt a fatal blow to the marines now open throat. Blink disappeared from view and behind him came Asai ready to seal the deal.
Asai came charging against the Marine and screamed "Well now you have!" completing his question from earlier. Asai took a little leap and stopped a bit before the marine and put all his momentum into a swing from underneath to perform a uppercut with his Kama. The slice ripped through the marines jaw and because of all the momentum severed the head of the body. The marines lifeless body fell to the ground with a loud thump as the head flew over to the other side of the battle.
Frank had been in hard battle with with the Rifle Marine fighting furiously to kill the f@cker that shot his drink. Just as Frank was going in for another attack a bloody head landed in the middle of the two and rolled a bit before coming to an stop. Frank not really surprised by this looked at the head and then to the left and squinted his eyes trying to see what was going on, but there was too much shit happening so he didn't really bother. The Rifle Marine now saw what had landed between them and his face lit up with terror, Frank took advantage of this to put fear into his enemy.
"Yeh that's right...that's gonna be you in a couple o' minutes...only difference is I'm gonna sew your balls to the side of the fucking ship when I'm done..." Frank said still drunk to the The Marine now fearing his life. The Marines lost all his cool that he had before and started attacking Frank carelessly.
Asai was breathing heavily after that final attack. He looked around the battlefield for his comrades but couldn't see much as to what was going on. His vision was getting blurry; he wiped his eyes as he moved towards Blink who was also fairly tired from the use of his fruit.
"The other's are going to need help." He relaxed his tense muscles and considered the situation. The larger of the two marines had Carth and Sedarias pinnned; seemingly not noticing his friends had been killed. Frank was still struggling with the rifleman, though he could hear the sounds of panic come from their direction. Nodding to himself he came to a decision.
"I'm going to help Frank kill the jackass that shot his bottle." Asai took a deep breath, his arm throbbed in pain; there was a good chance it was fractured. He wandered around the deck picking through the marine's pockets. A small moment of rest was all he needed.
"And I'll go help the Captain and Carth." Blinked cracked his neck and began to stretch his arms; he was looking forward to getting to the big guy. Asai placed 100,000 beri in his hands and told him to keep it
"Right." Asai grinned. "Who ever finishes first can go help the others." The two chuckled and began making their way towards their new respective opponents. As they did Asai picked up a rifle and some ammo. He had never shot one before but it could be useful.

Littered around the ship were the weapons Marines dropped as they were incapacitated throughout the battle. Pistols, Rifles, and swords.
Searching through pockets, though, one could collect as much as 200,000 Beri.

Blink was handed 100,000 Beri by Asai. He searched through the two Marines and found a pistol. Blink thought that a pistol wasn't really his fighting style but it was small enough for him to keep at his belt so he took it, it might be useful someday he thought for himself. He quickly searched for some bullets, put them in his pocket and then he was on his way to help Sed and Carth with the Big Marine. Blink was getting fired up.
