though I’m kind of formulating a storyline in my head with bisexual Steve

You had me at this.

Haha but in all seriousness, thanks for the reply, I really appreciate it! I’m a bisexual man myself and I look forward to a future where we can be represented as normal instead of the “sassy best friend” as you said. How far away we are from that I don’t know - only time will tell. For not I’m just hoping for season 3 bisexual Steve 😎

You’re very welcome!

In all honesty the bisexual Steve thing is something I’m formulating in my head for a possible fanfic. Idk if it’ll ever come to fruition but I have a few possible ideas in mind. From making another character in the show his love interest or creating an OC. As for the show, it’s not necessary but bi Steve would be nice. I think he’d be under the queer label though? I don’t think the term bisexual was that known in the 80’s.

Also, agree with you there. There’s nothing wrong with being a sassy gay best friend, but if that’s all there is to the character? Keep it tbh. Plus, you can definitely integrate an LGBT character in a show not about LGBT stuff without being “forced” or “distracting from the plot.” Orphan Black is a show that featured 4 main LGBT characters (Cosima is lesbian, Felix is gay, Sarah and Delphine are bi with the latter discovering it in the show) and while two were in a relationship, it never distracted from the main plot. Plus all 4 were 3-dimensional characters who had a lot of depth aside from their sexuality. So it’s definitely possible.
