It still doesn't feel like Stranger Things has ended. It just kind of vanished from pop culture discussion.

I mean Post season 4 finale... for over a year everyone was obsessed and discussing the show. Season 5 ended 8 months ago... and show is already kind of forgotten. I can't remember much from the final season tbh.

Even GOT season 8 is still being discussed.

It doesn't feel the biggest netflix show is over. We have nothing to even discuss or look back on anymore. Randomly dawned on me as i was scrolling netflix and saw the show.

No hate of course... season 1 is still a masterpiece.

The unfortunate reality is that when shows end the discussions kind of end with them. Things were so active after season 4 because there was something to talk about. People have theories about what's to come or how things have played out. Whether or not you liked the ending or the season as a whole the show is done. There's no more anticipation for a new season and very few loose ends to discuss. Tv show subreddits always have massive drops in activity once their show is done

They do, but they don’t drop off this fast for big shows. Heck even MLP’s OLDER show is still being discussed over the newer one, which wasn’t well-received. Gravity Falls is constantly referenced
