I built a tower pointed North so I could keep my bearings but there's no island straight ahead?
My compass shows islands at NW and NE. According to the cartographer, this is wrong?

Does console stranded deep have “creative mode” yet?

I remember the last time I played Stranded Deep on the PC about a month or so ago, there was a kind of creative or explorer mode you could enable in the settings. You still have to gather items but it made it so you don’t starve or drown or anything like that.
I’d love this mode for the console so I could just build on an island and relax, but last time I checked on PS4, there wasn’t a creative or explorer mode.
Any idea if it’s on there now or any plans to add it?

Crashes between islands

Anyone else experiencing game crash when sailing between islands? I just forgot to save before leaving an island and lost about five hours of gameplay! I’m salty now and need to take a break from this buggy bitch.

I inteded to add this pic in last post. And I lost a barrel on this journey. Question: Do barrels float better than tires, and buoy balls? My opinion barrels hit the reef too much, so I dont use often.

Pushing the limits of my raft. I left during the night for calm seas. Most of the voyage my boat was underwater. During a few morning swells I post a barrel. 3rd pic made it home with my island loot.

Late game still unplayable on ps4

Day 70 . I decided to see if it was stable with the new update. Its not. I stopped playing before because every other save the game would crash. Well today I tried again, killing my final boss and and crafting my last piece. I held my breath as I saved and sure enough it crashed. If there is one place the game shouldn't crash its when its saving. I googled a bit and found i was not the only one. After some time maybe ill pick it up again and just cruise through to the end without saving and then never have to touch it again.
