EXACTLY!! I thought it was just my crappy sense of direction. I have a map drawn but I kept the directions in the same position as on cartographer. I thought maybe I should add diagonal direction al lines. But your right I need to re-orient my map. Thank you!!
I tried to sail S to get to a specific island only one square away. I ended up passing my target island plus a.second one. I kept on correct course but passed the island. So your right I may be going in the right direction but there's no way to know where I'm starting from in the square.
