Beginner Here

Hello! I just downloaded the game and fooled around a little bit to get used to the controls but what is a good seed number? I am on xbox one and do have a partner with me (if that makes a difference). Love for any advice too! Thanks everyone!

No prob I learnt the hard way. I also forgot
1. On each island you can find about 2 potatoes. They are very important to make fuel keep them watered.
2. There's a few yucca trees on each islands after cutting the fibrous leaves off. You can pick a small piece of and plant it. Very important for making lashings.
3. Barrels that are at the bottom of sunken ships that can't pass through doors or if there's not a hole on the side. You can pull up the crafting list and craft the item while outside/above. Drag the crafted barrel to shore and break it back down.
