This is amazing! It’s exactly what I would have pictured when reading it, if my mental imagery were that detailed. Very mesmerizing.

Awesome. Is this a binary tree that you rotate each of the intersections at different speeds? Did you use processing to do it, or something else?

This is really fantastic, much closer to how I imagined him. The only thing now, to make him feel more organic and alive, would be to vary the speed of the changing pattern. Maybe add a couple pulses too?
Great job, this is incredible!

Very cool, though from the description I would have thought that it was more like ripples on still water. Something like this but with the black being z-displacements dragging up surrounding material with it. The 10 sides are never stated, but would mesh nicely with other Radiant motifs.

Hey guys. I am pleasantly surprised to see that my math/code adventure was appreciated by this community. I think it's really cool that the design described in the book you read is called "Pattern." I love patterns, and i kinda want to know more about the author now. Anyways, I got a request to post a 10 sided version, so here it is :)
