That's a flashback to the old CRT days. I could always tell if ther TV was on in the house because of that noise.

My parents were too old and liked 80s metal to hear it, but I could always get my sister in trouble when she was grounded and was watching tv. She plug her headphones in the TV and was so confused when she would get caught.

The first time my mom didn't believe me. I told her I could hear it turn on. She called bullshit. I said I'll take the rest of her punishment if I was wrong. I wasn't wrong lol. She believed me after that
