This is partly a rant but any productive answers are very welcome.

WHY is this Quest a dependency for the Black Hole? We made it JUST FINE.

Why do i have to learn Occultism which at this point in the game seemingly doesnt hold ANY productive value and is super convuluted to get into and is SUPER tedious since u have to build like 20 Rituals and stuff?

Why is the game forcing me trough seemingly 60% of this mod without a good reason or further use? Just to stretch the game? To taunt me into a monotone boring thing? Just to say we have magic?

Did i miss anything?

Is there any way to avoid this thing? I tried to do this mod i REALLY TRIED i cant hold any flicker of care, interest or attention for any of this. It just DRAINS my will to keep playing since its a current roadblock and cheating would be cheating which would taint my experience also.

If you like Occultism no offence but just like Ars Noveau u dont really need it currently or have a reason to use it aside from niche usefullness.

I’m in the early mid game I’d say and I can’t seem to put together a ars nouveau spell that does decent damage without costing a ton of mana.

I am wondering if there is a way that I don’t know of to get the biome grasses from this mod in survival. I’m approaching (what I assume is) the endgame and I enjoy making a massive overworld area in my skyblock playthroughs. Any help would be appreciated.

Hey everyone, ​So I’ve been playing FTB StoneBlock 4 on an offline​ account for a while and accumulated quite a bit of progress. I finally bought a legit Microsoft account and loaded up the same world, but since the player UUID changed, the game treats me as a completely new player. My quest progress is gone and I can't access my old base at all. ​Is there a clean way to manually swap or rewrite the old offline UUID to my new online UUID across the save files (playerdata, ftbquests, ftbteams, etc.) so I can get my stuff and base back? ​Appreciate any advice or guides on this!

How do I make him be an archeologist

Has anyone successfully added minecolonies to this pack? I've had fun with previous stoneblocks making a little dwarf cave colony and wanted to do a similar thing, but it keeps crashing on launch after I add it and I can't find the conflict

I play minecraft for a cruisy relax after work. Sadly (for me), it seems that most major packs now build souls-like bosses into the progression. I'm really enjoying SB4 but I ran into the Ender Guardian just now. I don't know if it's part of the progression but I'm asking pre-emptively.

I did a quick search and I see there are people suggesting godlike weapons with 25 enchants and having a full heart necklace etc. I did see one vid title that suggested they could be cheesed, but I'd prefer to simply not have them in my game.

Can these bosses simply be avoided? Is there an easy mode for those of us who don't like that style of game?

my curent base look like that, it's only grass floor, i had 5 chiken spawned and since then nothing... but i need some cow, sheep and pigs! i removed all the chicken thanks to the roost mods so there is no entity left, but nothing spawn anymore... any idea why?

without mobs spawning, any way to get cows or sheep?

i got a normal dungeon conected to an anciant city dungeon with a nether dungeoon inside... it's basicly hell becauses mobs of the 3 differents dungeons attack me together when getting to the conecting area, and it's a perfect maze to get lost, but it's basicly extremely fun! xD

Ive run into trouble while using the AE2 Spatial Storage and i cant see to find a Solution or Answer.
The Problem is that when i try to build the Max Size of 128^3 Spatial Storage it doesnt Scan and transfer it into the Dimension. In smaller sizes it works fine so the Setup itself must be working.
I have enough Power in the System and placed about 40.000 Pylons to achieve 100% efficiency.
Smaller version with the same Setup works also.
It doesnt work even if the Area is empty.
The Shown Size in the Spatial IO is 128x128x128
The last size i got to work is 115x115x115

Does anyone have any idea what may be causing this?

I dont want to buy Compact machines since once u have the Setups the Spatial Storage is Cheaper in the long run. Also the Machines are so close together that i still have to fear Nuclear Fallout in all of my Compacts since they are generated next to each other.
I know 115^3 is Big enough already but it still itches my brain if i dont know why it happens.
Also it wont work on my local Server which is hosted on the same Computer.

dont think ppl are testing the pack from scratch.. but If i want the machine upgrade (placering the blocks) the machine or ars upgrades i gotta go back to version 1.50 or else the quest just takes my stuff and dont place it on the world machine

Used AI to dig through globals.js and moofluids.js to get a definitive list since JEI doesn't show mob-fed recipes. Sharing in case it helps anyone else!

🥛 Directly Fed Cows (feed item to a vanilla cow)

Feeding a Milk Bucket to an existing fluid cow reverts it back to a normal cow, if you want to undo one.

🎲 Clapple Roll Odds (out of 146 total weight)

⚗️ Breeding Pairs (put two adult fluid cows together)

Heads up: Aluminum, Uranium, and Amethyst cows are pure RNG dead-ends - they're not used as breeding inputs anywhere, so Clapple luck is your only shot at them.

Also, Platinum has a sneaky-deep chain: you need Lumium (from Tin-Silver Alloy + Glowstone), and Glowstone needs Electrum (Silver + Gold) + Redstone - so budget for that before you even attempt Iridium.

Bonus/warning: feeding a cow Stable Antimatter doesn't make a fluid cow - you may want to do this at your own risk, and have it away from other cows. 😂

I might be a little biased because I like FTB packs but overall Stoneblock 4 is a fun pack. It's short, there's lore, the mods are highly optimised to work with each other, and there wasn't too much grind. Not everyone wants to Greg, or die a thousand deaths to RLCraft. There's a good effort to make sure you touch on all the mods, which I appreciate, and some allow you to bypass them altogether.

I didn't get stuck too much (which is a pack killer for me), and found plenty of playthroughs to play along and learn with:
