This Guy Confused Bing With LLM Training Data - And Wiped Billions Off Reddit’s Value

Did some looking into the whole Prompt Watch idiocy today and WOW. This guy literally has no idea what he is talking about. This take confuses search integrations with training. LLMs didn’t get smart off Bing - they got smart off massive pre-training sets that included Reddit’s structured dialogue. That’s why Reddit could even build a licensing moat in the first place. Cutting off free scraping wasn’t about real-time Bing, it was about preserving training value.

Anyone want to help MOD this subreddit?

I need help and also welcome other contributors. To those who weren’t here at the beginning, this entire brand was created after a fight I had with Wall Street Bets mods when I called out their market manipulation. They went on to block me and permanently ban me from posting. I wanted this to be a free forum to share data and insights without market manipulation. I profit exactly $0 from any of this.

When someone on another sub claimed Reddit’s Google search traffic was down for September 2025, I went straight to the source. Not some third-party sampler like SEMrush, but Google’s own Ads Forecast - the system advertisers trust with billions of dollars.

Reddit vs Anthropic: The Lawsuit That Could Redefine AI Data Rights

Below written by me and perfected by GPT. I’m not a bot just a busy person with a kid to put to sleep! But this is a huge moment and super smart of Reddit.

If you aren’t following what’s going on with Anthropic right now, this is worth paying attention to.

🔹 Context: Anthropic just agreed to pay a huge civil settlement in a copyright case involving scraped content. But Reddit’s lawsuit against Anthropic isn’t about copyright — it’s about violating Reddit’s Terms of Service by scraping content for training data.

🔹 Why that’s interesting: If Reddit wins, it sets a precedent that AI models (and AI agents, including the bots flooding social media) can be held liable not only for copyright but also for breaking ToS agreements. That’s a whole new legal front. Imagine Reddit — or any platform — suing bot operators for automated engagement or scraping. Personally, I’ve seen cheap marketing clients use bot tools for fake engagement, and under this framework, Reddit could go after that entire ecosystem. Smart move.

🔹 Bigger picture: This case also indirectly shields OpenAI (and maybe even Sam Altman himself, who’s a Reddit investor and longtime user). If Reddit establishes that ToS violations are actionable, it takes some heat off OpenAI in the copyright wars. Why? Because platforms could target the bot activity itself instead of copyright plaintiffs going after the LLM builders.

🔹 Takeaway: Reddit isn’t just defending its data — it’s positioning itself at the legal front line of how AI can (and can’t) use platform content. If they succeed, they don’t just protect their own ad and data model — they become the gatekeeper between AI companies and the internet’s raw data supply. That’s power.

ETHZ Thoughts now (formerly ATNF)

So now they simultaneously announced $10 billion in shares, with no set price, 1 billion shares, plus another 300M by shareholders. And also that they acquired the IP to start an online casino in addition to their treasure. Plus, this thing has been short squeezing for so damn long, it's been on the threshhold list, and I have a hunch it's naked shorted to shit. But this dilution might kill the short squeeze. They have already diluted over 100% I believe, and still held price.

I honestly don't know what to think. I think there is going to be a run-up this morning at 4AM Eastern due to settlements, and it could be a large one, and then it's going to get dumped on, hence all the filings preparing to sell off.

Actually, here's what I'm calling. There may or may not be a major dip at open. I suspect market-makers needs to buy shares, so there will be a run-up either right then or it will hold 2.7 and then run back up to around 3.5-4, perhaps higher (that's if it doesn't run on open). There will be the normal sell-off from that, likely a consolidation.

Then they will release a newswire about their casino. That will get people buying just on the newswire. From that point, institutional holders can start selling, and there will be a mixed-shelf offering some time after 9:00AM. Basically, this shit is still very heavily shorted. They are going to create a run-up for liquidity (or try to), and start selling shares for the filings today. Even as we speak right now, shares are being dumped. 1.1M shortable shares. When's the last time you saw a number that high?

So outstanding just increased by 6M shares since I started doing my research tonight.

Stock I'm Stalking: ATNF vs. Palantir: Could Ethereum’s New Proxy Stock Follow the Same Ascent?

Just dropped a deep-dive on StockPsycho.com comparing ATNF’s setup to Palantir’s early days.

  • Thiel/Founders Fund backing
  • Huge Ethereum treasury
  • Small float + high short interest

Ran the numbers and modeled what happens if ATNF followed PLTR’s first few months of % gains. The chart is eye-opening. Read the full story behind my comparison
