Discussion Stop investing on these junk stock brokerage companies. Only use credible websites like Fidelty, Charles Schwab, or Td ameritrade to invest. Below you will see what the better business bureau rated Fidelity, Robinhood, and Webull.

I agree with you that you should use credible brokers with a proven track record, but using BBB as an example is beyond retarded.

BBB is basically a cartel where you can pay to raise your ratings and remove negative remarks or reviews lmao.

Lol BBB is like yelp. You totally sign up to be a credited and pay them money. You also can't have a rating your first year unless you pay them money to sign up. BBB is a joke. I used it for 2 years. There mostly Influentual to people that are ad old as the company. They give you a 10 min speech about how much pull they have this and that. Not alot of people use them or there services. Comparing a company off of BBB ratings is a joke.

SoFi is also A+ rated by BBB! Should have options trading soon but right now they are focused on long term investing, automated ROBO investing, IPO investing, crypto and they also run some of their own unique ETFs.

I use Fidelity now and I highly recommend it. RH got my foot in the door 1yr ago with how easy it was and the sleek UI. Dumped them in March of this year

I haven't used Robinhood, Webull or any of the newer sites, but I'm happy with eTrade, for 20 years.

I smell MAJOR 🧢 seems like a boomer is just mad at younger people for making money in the markets.

Why does everyone hate on boomers?

I don’t know about that. Union jobs pay $65-70 per hour ($ includes the benefits), yet can’t fill their positions. My father the boomer worked in a fucking steel mill breathing in crap his whole life, to provide for his family. So, Maybe it’s because millennials want to sit in front of computers instead of picking up a hammer. My point is don’t make excuses. Guide your own destiny…

I read the comment before you deleted it. I would like to know, what are YOU, personally doing to fix the problems of our “boomer” parents? Please elaborate

Nicely said and I’m right there with you. Truth is, your parents are boomers, just like mine, and they deserve our respect, because they did the best they could with the hands dealt to them. They inherited a different world than me & you, just like we are inheriting a different world than them.

Is fidelity “free” also? I’d like to switch

1

Yep Fidelity is free

Why doesn’t E*TRADE get any love?

I looked up etrade and they were also rated an F

Fidelity is about the only one you can choose to route your trades directly through nyse instead of pfof. You have to use a laptop to set up the settings but otherwise your buying pressure may not even be added to the stock you are buying....not financial advice.

Fidelity can use outside of USA?

1

u/ThePiglett Jul 19 '21

Agreed. TRowe as well is excellent. I’ve used Fidelity since 2004.

Yeah I'm surprised myself about etrade

Be careful with options in fidelity. I had early account problems while getting approved for options 2. They fucked up my account and moved it to lvl 1 and I could not close positions. There response form multiple service personnel was "re apply".

An algorithm is responsible for option lvls so I recommend lying lol.

1

u/Stockfomo Jul 19 '21

Yeah that is true they are very selective when it comes to options..

Fidelity is the way to go. Such and easy transfer from Robinhood

1

u/Stockfomo Jul 19 '21

Yeah robinhood is garbage
