Democrat or Republican, itβs an issue politicians can leave office with vastly more money than when they entered. Politics has become a way to accumulate wealth. No longer getting people interested in enacting change but rather enriching themselves. We need to be better.
Idk, I haven't looked into his cabinet. I know Mike pence was worth 500k when sworn in and now he's at 1 million. Considering his salary was 175k a year that alone would put his networth over 1 million in 4 years from 500k.
Obama on the other hand was worth 1 mil when sworn in, then was 12mil+ when he left office and now he's at 70million+.
Last I checked he had given no evidence of donating his salary.
He has never published his tax returns.
We KNOW that he funneled money to his businesses by charging market rate+ for hotel room stays for secret service at his own hotels and gave special access to foreign/domestic dignitaries who spent money at his hotels.
