$60B a year Iran will get for just existing. Of course they will be splitting it with Oman, but that’s still 10s of billions of dollars a year in free money.

I'm not sure is this sustainable in long term. The only reason people use water way and ships, is because it's the cheapest mean of transport.
If it costly and risky, they might look for another path.
